"Now then Nathanial, remember, this place does have a phone, but you don't need to call to check on us, have fun, nevermind what is happening at home okay honey?" Nate's mother and brother were seeing him off at the summer camp, they were standing at the enterance, and his mom had just wiped his face with her thumb. His little brother was just standing holding her other hand silently.

"Okay." Nate just smiled and nodded, with his back bag full of us stuff on his back, "I'll try not to have to much fun without all of you." He then turned to his little brother, "And you!" he stepped closer to his brother, and spoke in a serious tone, "Don't you Dare," He stuck his fingers in his brother's mouth and forced him to smile, "Forget to smile!" they both laughed, after he wiped his hands off on his shorts he turned around and started to walk into the camp, he then turned around one last time, "BYE MOMMY!" He wore a big smile and waved then ran into the campground.

He looked at a small piece of paper he was given, "I am on site...D?" He looked around to notice a couple of small wooden buildings, a few large trees and a big open space, what bothered him is what he didn't see. No one else was there yet. He forced a funny frown then sat in the middle of the open space, "They better not be playing hide and seek without me...or maybe I am it and I wasn't told it?" he was attempting to contimplate the reason why he was alone. "I give up." He smiled then laid back on his bag.

A little boy with black hair hopped off of a bus. He had bright green eyes and a cute 13-year-old face. Rin shrugged his knapsack over his shoulder and re-adjusted it with his left hand. His head was nodding up and down slightly to a beat that was playing from the big black headphones on his head. Rin glanced at a little paper slip he was given and scratched his head, yawned and started to walk towards a sign that said 'Site-D'. As he walked, Rin kicked his feet up high with every step, emphasizing the beat playing from his music along with his nodding. He must have looked weird to someone, but it didn't bother him. Rin was enjoying himself, hell he even smiled a little. It had been such a long time since he had taken such a deep breath of fresh air. It smelled nice. Clean, unlike the city smog he was used to breathing. When Rin got to site D he looked around, only to find hardly anyone. "Isn't this supposed to be a summer camp?" He asked no one in particular. "Yeash...and I thought I was gonna be late."

Another vehicle pulled in. Ox got out of the car, toating his bag around his shoulder. As soon as he left the car, he slammed the door shut. Almost hard enough to shatter the window. His parents, whom drove him there, drove off without any goodbyes, hugs, or kisses. He just kept walking toward the camp, already seeing atleast two people there. He just rolled his eyes at them both and slung his bag on the ground, sitting alone on a bench not far from the others. He waited patiently. Closing his eyes, he sighed. No thoughts...no emotion...nothing...

Nate jumped up at hearing other people walking in his direction, "You two in site D also?" Nate was smiling, finally some other kids had arrived, He waved his hands in the air, "I'm Nate!" he yelled then continued with his big smile, he stopped for a second, "Does anyone know where the bathroom is?" he laughed then crossed his legs and started to dance.

Rin looked at the strange boy named Nate and pointed at a building labeled 'Site-D Washroom' with an expressionless face. He blinked, When was the last time I've seen someone do the 'potty-dance'? He wondered.

"Thanks!" He smiled then ran to the washroom.

When he was done he quickly washed his hands and ran back out to see everyone else, but unluckily for him, his shoe was untied, and he tripped. "OOf!." he landed on his face. After he got up, he rubbed his nose, then smiled again, "Well that was a pleasant 'trip'" He took advantage of having a chance to use that horrible pun.

Rin couldn't help but grin, "See ya next fall!" He said to Nate. It took a few second before Rin burst out laughing in a childish fit of giggles.

Ox groaned at the both of them. They were all children, who probably grew up in the loving embraces of their "oh so loving" parents. This ticked Ox off. To the point where he was willing to get up and smack the sense back in the both of them, but he kept cool. Idiots! he thought. He turned away from them, lifting his feet on the bench and laying backward. He rested his hand behind his head and closed his eyes. Hoping to catch some z's. Thats if those idiots doesn't make such a ruckus.

"Have a good time, Will." Will's mother said. "I'm sure I will!" Will replied.
The car drove off, Will stood there for a minute watching them drive.
Then he noticed the two other boys, and approached them. "Hello, I'm Will." He said with a somewhat forced smile.

A car pulled up just outside the camp, Christopher and his mother were inside it.
"I'm sorry Chris, but this is for your own good." she said sincerely.
"Not everyone wants to attack you, what happened was unfortunate." she continued.
"But.... theres so many people. You don't know what could happen!" Chris replied.
"You have to spend at least two days here, after that, I'll gladly come back to get you, but only if you really want me to."
She got out of the car and pulled his door open.
"Here's a mobile phone, keep it safe, I guarantee that some other kid will be missing their parents. Maybe only turn it on when you need to use it, so that the battery doesn't run out." She handed it to him and he put it into his messenger bag.
He stepped out of the car, hugged his mum and headed on into the camp grounds.
"Love you!" She yelled as he walked on.

He had been registered for site D and so headed in the direction.
In every direction, he could see people his age around, having fun and talking.
It was a scary sight for Chris, after he got attacked, he never felt the same around people knowing it could happen again.
He knocked on the door of the dorm and walked inside.
"H-hello?" he forced a nervous smile.

(OOC: I think we're still outside.)

Seems like two other goody two shoes arrived. All guys, no girls. A sausage fest. From the sidelines, Ox's attempt to take a nap was an epic fail. The voices from the other guys on the far side of him made him shrug. He spoke loud enough for them to hear, "If I would've known this place was going to be full of imbeciles, I would'nt have signed up" his voice cold and to the point. He rolled over, planting his feet on the ground while crossing his arms. He got a quick glance at the phone the new kid's mother had given him. This made him smirk. Not only was Ox a vandal, but a thief as well. He wanted that phone.

Once Ox spot something he wants, he goes for it, and this was no exception. He got up from the bench and walked over to the guys, hands in his pockets. "Phones were made so that political officials can listen in on your conversations. They wanna know your strengths and your weaknesses. In a couple more years, your phone will let off a screeching signal, notifying the feds of your position. Once they've found you, they will take you and lock you in an secret governed underground facility, where they expect half the population to die." Ox said, getting closer to Chris.

"Their goal is to see this country's population reduce to five hundred thousand, so that they may impregnant women like your mother, and give birth to evil dictators. All while your are being tortured for your own selfish ignorance and false reality." Ox rolled his eyes and stretched his hand toward Chris. "I'm here to make sure that doesn't happen. Give me your phone."

Chris probably thought he was insane, which he partially was.

The sound of another car arriving echoed from the camp's entrance, it was a small black car. Although it was old, it seemed to have been very well taken care of, it was still relatively clean despite having just come through the road. The door opened and Hatsue stepped out, she was wearing sunglasses and her Ipod's earphones could be seen leaving her pockets and disappearing behind her hair. She was carrying a small black backpack. She looked at a crumpled paper that she took out of her pocket. "D..."

She looked upwards and saw her site in the distance, a few people alredy gathered around there. She sighed and started walking. Her aunt and uncle yelled her goodbye from the car, she answered with a wave, not even turning back to them. She eventually got to the D site, she quickly glanced around at everyone, most of them looked younger and...She looked around again, this time seeming a bit more desperate. She took out her sunglasses and put it in her pockets. She approached the others. "Please tell me i'm not the only girl in here..."

Before anyone could answer Hatsue alredy could tell by the expressions on their faces, she sighed heavily. "I am..." She scratched the back of her head and took out her earphones, and made a slight bow. "I'm Hatsue Karamorita, a pleasure to meet you." She looked down at her feet and then back at the others. "Oh, screw this..." She muttered while walking over to the nearby bench and taking a seat.

Another car pulled up at the camp entrance. "Ian honey get out of the car. " Ian's mother said. "NO" Ian said "Let me handle this" Ian's father said. He walked to the back seat and dragged Ian out of the car and quickly ran back to the driver's seat and drove out of the camp entrance. Ian thought "Stupid parents thinking I need a break from computers." Ian searched for a crumpled piece of paper that says site D. He walked and eventually found it seeing some kids about his age. He did a forced smile "I'm Ian Smith" he said to a couple guys his age.

"Th-thats not true... Leave me alone!" Chris yelled.
He firmly gripped the mobile phone in his pocket, it was his last connection to the outside world of this camp.
He stepped back from the mad man in front of him.
"Now, can't you just leave me alone? I haven't done anything to you." he nervously said.

Ox rise his eyebrow, confused about Chris's sudden defense. "And I haven't done anything to you either, yet. Look, I'm going to take that phone either way. We can do this the hard way or the easy way. "If you don't give me that phone, then you will be in debt to the CIA. Which means, your freedom will be bani-...grrr...screw this!"

Ox stomped toward Chris attempting to mug him. His hands meant to grab a hold of his collar. While tied up, he was planning to use a hand to reach down and snatch the phone out of his pocket.

Chris snapped and let him take the phone.
"Fine, take it!"
Chris cowered in fear, beaten.
His last link with someone he knew was gone.

Ox gladly took it away from him, holding the phone up. "Look, I'm doing this for your benefit. Besides, there are a number of reasons why kids come to summer camp. It's not always about fun. Sometimes kids wanna change their ways, get out and meet people, etc. And how are you going to do that when your parents are always nagging you down? It's called learning to be independent.." He put it in his pocket. "But now that you've given me the phone, you're co-found by my persuasion that overpowered both your charisma and your intelligence. What I said was not a lie."

Hawks walked out of his parents car. After being talked at for the journey here, he blurred out all noise. Whatever.... After almost being expelled from his latest school, for punching a kid in the nose, he walked on, into the camp.
"Hey" Said Hawks to the first group of people he met. "I'm Steve, but most people call me hawks. Just got left here by my parents. Who are you?"

A car drove up as Leon got out and looked around to see that their was a few kids already here, He then grabbed his backpack from the back seat and put it on. Leon then shrugs as he walks past most of the kids and sits down in the shade, leaning on a large tree. he then puts his backpack next to him and takes out a bag of chips then opens it and begins to eat them trying to keep to himself. He then see's that his parents care is gone and makes a small grunt and thinks to himself I guess i'm stuck here for a while...... He then continues to eat his chips without paying any attention to the people around him.

Nate was more or less overwhelmed by all the kids who had suddenly started appearing, "This is going to be fun." He smiled, "As long as you don't act like a bunch of depressed walking dolls. Seriously. Do I need to throw a pie to get someone to smile around here?" He chuckled, it was true he had a pie in his bag, two actually, one to throw the other to eat. "We are kids for a reason, start acting your age damnit!" He said in a mockful tone.

"No, you're just a jerk, I arrive here and you instantly attack me for a stupid mobile phone... but whatever."
Chris knew he shouldn't have got out of his car, he knew he was right back then.
He backed away from the guy and walked away.
He still had his bag at least.
After he got a short distance away, he began to run to a crowd of other kids.

Ox watched the boy run off and started stretching his right arm. "Hmph." Turning around, he walked and passed the other kids who stood before him. "And we're not kids, we're teenagers. Act like one!" said Ox. Moving past them, he walked to sit next to Hatsue.. Pulling out the phone, he opened it and started flipping through the content. There was each smirk as he went from the contact lists to text messages. He was distracted by Chris's non-ability to stick up for himself, that he didn't recognize Hatsue when she came in. He barely even noticed that she was sitting beside him.

"Teenagers are just kids with more freedom and additude." Nate grinned, "Does anyone play digimon?" He put his bag own and pulled out his deck of cards, digimon seemed pretty popular, at least where he lived it was, he was hoping for at least one good game, or to find the one card he had constantly searched for.

Leon finished eating his chip so he crumpled up the bag and got up then walked to a garbage to throw it away when he reached the garbage he threw the bag away. When he was about to go back into the shade he heard something about pies, kids and teenagers but everyone was too far away to really make out what they were saying. So Leon continued to walk back under his shady tree and leaned back on it once more and closed his eyes to rest.

(OOC: -Ahem- Spirit, i think you mean HER not him >.>)

Hatsue was busy fiddling around with her Ipod until she noticed Ox and Chris's little argument. She watched it with a hint of curiosity, alredy slowly making up her mind regarding both of the boys. She simply stared at Ox as he sat next to her. This might be my chance out of this place... She turned down the volume on her Ipod and grinned slightly. She took the opportunity Ox was distracted to stand up, snatching the telephone from his hands at the same time. "You know, for someone who was so eager to save that guy from the horrors of the telephone, you don't seem to be resisting too well to it either." She held the telephone tightly in her hand, just in case Ox were to try to take it back. "Being the only female in this camp, i think i'll hold onto this. Men can be so unreasonable sometimes..." She grinned and watched Ox, waiting for his reaction. Hopefully if i stir up some trouble they'll kick me out of this camp...Or put me in a room separate from everyone else, that could work too, i guess.

Rin looked around. So many people... He thought with a blank stare. He watched Ox steal Chris' cellphone then smirked when Hatsue took it from him. Rin was short for his age, but made up for that with something that a friend of his back in the city called 'little-man syndrome' Really, all that was was a piss-off for the already troubled boy. He sighed and for the first time in weeks, reached up to his headphones and knocked them off his head, sending them sliding down to hang around his neck. He could hear everything now. Chris' quiet whining, Ox's irritableness, introductions made by a few others and Nate's proposition of Digimon. Rin in fact had brought his deck of Digimon cards with him, they were in his backpack but after one more glance at Ox, he decided not to bring them out, however, he did decide to join Nate and a few other boys, but only after he had grabbed Chris and hauled him along with him.

"Huh!? Hey let go of me!" Chris yelled after suddenly getting pulled away.
Is everyone going to hassle me today?
Chris thought to himself, he did hear the word Digimon, but decided to
keep his knowledge of the game hidden for now, knowing the jerk might come sniffing around again.
He owned a set of cards, although mainly for the designs of the digimon themselves, not the gameplay itself.

Leon opened his eyes and looks over and saw a small crowd of kids getting larger as they where holding Digimon cards and are trying to start some games. Leon then looked down at his backpack then opened up a small pouch on the side and took out his own set of Digimon cards. He didnt think he would actually play the game a the camp but he brought them just in case. He then slowly stood up and grabbed his backpack as he did. Leon then walked over to join the other kids.

When Leon got to them he said Hey, what are you guys doing?

"Chill out, Chris. I'm not going to hurt you." Rin said in a light tone then sat down in the grass beside Nate. "You're going to have to learn to stand up against people like that, but I don't expect you to do something like that alone, seeing as how you are right now." Rin smiled slightly and patted Chris on the shoulder, "You've got me on your side, and I'm sure Nate here would be hapy to give you some support. You're not alone."

[OOC: Ian seems like a loner ]

"I guess while I'm here I might as well make some friends" Ian thought. Ian saw Rin and Chris Ian walked up to them and asked what was going on.

"Jeeze, do we all play or what?" Nate chuckled, he slowly went through his deck and pulled out a card, he shuffled his cards and laid his deck beside himself, "So who is playing this round then?" He smiled, but before anyone could answer, there was a lash of light in the sky, "Ugh?" Nate squinted as the light slowly faded, "What was that?"

"In these times if you want something you have to take it, right? I'm following the rules, technically." He got up from the bench, stuck his hands in his pockets and started to walk away to a quiet place to rest, but was haulted by a bright flash in the sky. He gritted his teeth and risen his eyebrow. "What the...?"

After Leon asked what the crowd of kids where doing, a bright light shined in the sky and Leon looked up directly at it. he squinted his eyes as it was too bright to actually look at and said "What on earth?" and then dropped his cards on the floor by accident then quickly ducked and picked them all up, then he looked back up and the light suddenly faded.

Will noticed the bright light. Fireworks? No not out here... He thought.
"Anyone else see that?" He asked.

Rin looked up at the sky as well. The light was bright, but also very pretty. "Wonder what that is..." He said aloud. He looked around, something was weird, the light made no sound, even though it looked like it should have. "Nate?" Rin asked, "Do you know what that is?"

(I take it this is the part where they see the aurora, if not, just ignore the last part)

What...? No aggresive reaction? No insults...? No...Nothing? URGH. Hatsue stomped her foot and then turned around to the others just in time to see the bright flash of light coming out of nowhere, before she could reach for her sunglasses, the flash was gone. She rubbed her eyes and shook her head, slighlty dizzy. She then walked over to the others, almost tripping with every step. "Oww..." She put her sunglasses on, just in case anyways. "What was that...?!" She then looked over at the direction where the flash of light had come from, a huge aurora was standing there, waving like cloth. She slowly walked closer to it. "Oh wow...Never seen one of those so up close..."

"If this is camp how come we're doing nothing fun" Ian wondered. Ian checked his pockets for his digimon to see if they were still there when he snuck them in to camp. Suddenly a giant bright light flashed from the skies Ian thought he was going to die. Ian squinted as the flash died down.

Rin glanced at Hatsue with bright green, almost unnatural eyes then he turned his gaze at the aurora. "Man...That would be sweet with some sick beats." He commented quietly. "I wouldn't touch it though." He called out to Hatsue.

A sudden bright light flashed over the camp.
What the heck is that light? Chris thought to himself.
He squinted up into the sky, the light was quite powerful, too much for him to stare at.
"Thats not normal is it?" Chris cautiously asked.
He grasped the strap of his bag, holding it firmly.
I think I should go home... Mum's not far from here, I can make a call in the office.

Hatsue completely disregarded Rin's comment and started walking closer to the aurora. Suddenly, she spotted a huge green thing behind the aurora, it's shape resembled that of a blackhole. She stopped in her tracks and stared at it. Suddenly a another strong light came from the same location, this time exactly from the hole, it wasn't as strong as last time, but was this time accompanied by...Oh crap. Several meteorites had jumped right out of the hole and were heading towards the group's direction. Hatsue yelped and jumped to the ground. One of the meteorites had fallen right in front of her, as she opened her eyes, she looked at the small hole that had appeared in front of her. A small shining object floated out of it and she grabbed it.

It resembled some kind of "tamagochi" (Virtual pet thingy, if you know what i'm talking about). It was dark purple and it's screen was shining with a bright green light, she examined it for a moments and then remembered the others were also probably hit by those meteor like things. She immediately turned around. "Is everybody okay?"

(OoC: hahaha sniped, we both compaired them to tamagotchi though Lol.)

"I have no clue what it was..." before he could speak another word, an object flew into his hands, "A tamagotchi?" He held it upsidedown, turned it around and was examining it, "With a card slot? I have never seen one like this...maybe it has to do with the camp?" he kept looking at it, it was a strange tint of purple with bright read on it, his screen was glowing yellow.

He heard someone else ask if everyone was okay, "I'm okay, but this thing is kinda weird." He stared at its card slot, curious as to what was suposed to be swiped.

Rin looked at Nate and Hatsue then at the ground in front of him. He bent over and picked up the weird device that looked like a tamagotchi, which was white with black highlights. It's screen glowed with an azure blue color. "What is this...Oh!" Rin swung his backpack off of his shoulder and began to dig inside it. Within a few seconds, he pulled out a Digimon Digivice card, looked at it, looked at the thing in his other hand then looked at it again. "Guys!" He shouted and ran up to Nate, shoving the card in his face, "Look at this! Don't they look similar?!"

Ox's body went cold the minute he saw the meteorites crash down around them. He ducked behind a rock to avoid getting hit, but instead of getting hit, a strange object flew into his hands. The others called them "tamagotchi" He got up on his feet and walked with the others, holding out the object in his hand. It was Rin who found similarities with his cards and the device that suddenly rained from the sky. He examined his. "This thing has a card swiper installed. Hmm...try swiping the card in the slot and see what happens."

Ian felt something come in his fingers "A black tamagotchi with a slider how peculiar " It's screen glowed a crimson red color. Ian then heard Rin saying "Don't they look similar." Ian ran to where Rin and Nate were exclaimed "They do look similar" in higher pitched voice.

Rin nodded and took the card he was holding and swiped it in the slot on the side of the device. The device came to life, a bright blue light shooting upwards from the screen of it. Rin's bright green eyes went blank, the others would see him just standing there with a beam of bright blue light shooting from his device thingy, but what Rin was seeing was a place totally different. Aoi. A small, faint voice called to him, Aoi. It was louder now. Before Rin could make sense of it, he was back in the real world, the shining light gone from his device. He looked down at it with wonder in his bright green eyes. "What the...?" He mumbled upon discovering that there was the same aurora pattern on the screen as they had seen before. "What's going on here..." He asked, And who the hell called me Aoi?!

Leon was still looking at where the light was coming from when small meteors where falling from the sky, as he was standing their, one was flying right towards him. Leon quickly jumped out of the way but the meteor was glowing and turned to fallow him. Leon closed his eyes and thought he was done for as the light hit him. But instead it stopped in his hands and when Leon opened his eyes he looked at the device and said "Are they advertising tamagotchi's by shooting them from the sky or something?" Leon the looked over and saw a lot of the other kids had them two then walked over to see whats up.

When he got over their he noticed that they where swiping their cards through it and thought he should try the same.....
Leon swiped many different cards threw it but nothing happened then, as he was going threw his deck, he saw a card he's never seen before and thought "Maybe I picked it up when I dropped my cards before"When he got a closer look at it, Their wasent a picture on it, it was just a blank card. Leon shrugged and swiped it threw the device. When he did this sparks shot out as he was swiping it and when he was completely finished, the device began to glow with immense light. It was too bight to stare at so Leon put the device in front of him, shining it at the other kids instead......

"Oh man, this didn't happen any other time I was at summer camp!" Will exclaimed.
The small device that flew to him was blue and cyan.
Will noticed the other kids trying to swipe their cards in the slider part.
"I don't think thats a good idea you guys..." Will said.

"That is a bright light, put it away!" Nate covered his eyes with one hand and held tightly on to the device that flew at him. "What did you do?" He was squinting due to the immense light, Maybe if I swiped a card mine will turn his off! (gotta love kid logic), He swipped a card that he pulled from his pocket and his device started to make an extreme light "Oh hell what did I do now?"

Chris thought to himself after picking up the object once it had landed at his feet.
His was a dull shade of green, and like the others had a slider for cards.
suddenly, the object being shooting a beam of bright light towards the sky.
"Maybe its some kind of alien technology!?" He yelped.
Following their lead, he pulled his card collection from his bag and grabbed the first one he saw.
He swiped it. Curiosity got the better of him.
The brightest blue light he'd ever seen blasted of into the sky.
"What the heck is this!? Someone turn it off!" He yelled in fear.

Leon was still holding the device at the other kids until he heard them complain, so Leon held the device up into the sky and then bright light faded somewhat, and then a new, purple beam of light shot up into the sky. Leon stared at it as it when higher then the clouds
and said "Wha-What did I do!?"
