Today there is a new unit known as CDU. (Conspiracy Defense Unit) The job of the unit's detectives is to uncover the true aspect from a crime that is believed to either by a terroist attack or a threat to national security. Your jurisdiction of cases are the following:
Any case that has history or suggests a threat to national security. This meeting is adjourned.

Current Case:
Name: Not much Law, not much Order
Location: East Harlem, Manhattan
Victim: Anders Walk, Male, 38 years old, Was from Iraque by birth and remained there up to a few months ago
Body Condition: The body was cold and already rotting by the time it was discovered. It had four major puncture wounds, each in vital points of his torso.
Victim Relationships: His brother Abhay, his aunt Amit and his father Aravinda. All are here in East Harlem.
Additional Info: It is believed that "Anders Walk" may be an Alias, and that he may have arrived through a fake passport. It is also possible that the members of his family here in America, were smuggled in.

Harold was just getting himself some coffee. He was delighted from the smell, and was happy once he received his first case. He was assigned to this case with his partner...

Cirrus arose from his leather, spinning seat having finished tapping away at his Laptop. He lit a cigarett in his moouth with his right hand, admiring the decorative blue, flickering flame as it hovered from the platinum lighter. He took note of the E-Mail he had received, the new case peaking his curiosity susbtancially. He had also noted one of the major figures who would be aiding Cirrus on the case; Harold Jefferson, a detective renowned for his interrogation abilities, though Cirrus had complete some thorough research and found that Harold was also in trouble for what Cirrus saw as corruption.

"Well... I suppose it'd make sense to meet him ASAP....."

"You must be Mr.Cirrus, nice to meet you."
"I'm guessing by now you received the case. Ready to go?"

Location: East Harlem, Manhattan Ander's Home 3:35 PM 1 day after the murder

Cirrus looked at Harold, his partner on the new case top to bottom and smiled briefly. Uncertainty naturally remained in his gut as regarding how to judge the man, but for now he would be force by his superiors to accept him as relatively trustworthy, even if he didn't like it.

"That's right.. and you must be Mr. Jefferson, please call me Cirrus. " Cirrus stated sternly, offering out his hand to shake. "Now, if you don't mind, I reckon we oughta' get down to business by last week.... so. What do we know 'bout the victim at the moment..? And, no I mean no offence to you, is there anyone else on this case? I feel we could solve a murder together, but having more people on the team would makething infinitely easier, know what I mean? "

In CDU we are assigned in groups of two. We have unlimited resources though, the police, the doctors, the attorneys. Everything.
Since we are low on staff we will have to be in groups of two. I got accepted as soon as the unit was created but.. the majority of detectives will have to pass through a lot of tests and exams to become a part of this unit. Smiled Harold. What we know about the victim is that he has an alias, he is believed to come from another country, the body was rotting from the inside. I sent the corpse to our health department. They shall be giving us the results of his death soon.

[Lucky me haha. I have the crime basically solved in my mind, but it's pretty easy. No point making the first case impossible now, is there:-P
We have to make sure to at least keep up activity between us, that way Sparrowsmith will be more likely to join, which means other people could be more likely to join. More detectives would make it a lot more fun when we take on some harder cases.]

"Anders Walk.." Cirrus said, mainly to himself aloud. "If he IS from another country, it has to be an Alias; it's an American name no doubt. Now then, in my search on Mr. Anders, I was able to find his brother Abhay, and his aunt Amit. From my experience they seem like Asian names to me, but the fact that they don't follow any aliases is... strange. It's likely that Anders is an illegal imigrant, otherwise, why use an alias? Now his brother and aunt though... they're either in this country legally, or have some other reason for not needing an alias."
Cirrus pulled out a packet of cigarettes, but hesitated for several moments before taking one out, gripping it between his lips and offering one to Harold with his lef hand, and lighting his own with his right hand.

"I'm not takin' charge here or nothin', but I propos we pay Anders's family a visit. See what we can scrounge up.... what about you?"

"Yeah sure sounds like a good idea."
Location: Ander's Family Home 4:35 PM 1 day after the murder

"You come in my home... and want ask me about killing my own brother...? You.... you are a blight... all of your kind are big blight... blight of Earth, blight of Humans... this talk is over... I think you leave now..." Abhay said, after refusing to talk to Cirrus consecutively.
Amit, the aunt of the victim, was a somewhat more co-operative, explaining that Anders, along with the three of them, came here from India, though that was all she would explain, and it was hard to pick up on at first, due to her limited English.

Cirrus didn't want Harold to get involved with questioning the family, particularly the aunt Amit, since she clearly wanted to co-operate but wasn't capable of saying what she wanted to say. Abhay knew something, and Cirrus knew that they need all the intel they could get at an early stage such as the one the case was currently at. He had no choice.

"Alright..." He muttered as he left the sitting room where the family were. "All I could get, was that they're from India, and that there are actually three of them here in the country, aside from Anders. That means there's a reason why this third one is so hard to find. I.. couldn't get anything outta' the brother... maybe you should take a swing at it."

"Alright."
Harold visited the brother once again with a police officer.
"Um officer?, please arrest this man. He is keeping evidence from our unit which is meant to protect our national security. Until you tell us everything you shall be spending your time in jail."

Harold looked at Cirrus and muttered "We visit him again in an hour."
