So i'm sure the answers really obvious or simple, but I just installed RPG maker 2003 on my laptop. I had it on my desktop PC for years and it works fine. When I tried it on my lap top the title screen was simply a dark blue no matter what I did. Also it wouldnt play music on the title screen, but in the rest of the game it did. I tried the titles that come with the game and I tried title screens I had made previously, nothing works. Game over might not work as well, I havent tried. It doesnt effect game play its just. . . annoying lol. If anyone can help i'd greatly appreciate it!

I get the blue screen too. Can you tell me how to fix it? And for the music double click your speaker on the toolbar and turn "SW Synth" up.

When your in RPG maker 2003 at the top to the right of your test your game button is a window button next to that is a title button. Click that and your title will now show click it again and it wont show.

I haven't used 2K/3 in awhile, but if I'm not mistaken, you get the blue screen/no title music when in playing in test mode (ie., playing the game right from the editor), but if you click on the actual game.exe file you will see your title screen.

I didn't know, however, that there was an option within the editor to turn this on or off.
