Chance laughed at the joke. "I wish. The food was great." She sat back and let out a content sigh. "My parents were both with the Caravans. My dad in Tipa and my mom here in Marr's Pass actually. They met when the Marr's Pass Caravan was returning for the year. My dad said he was a bit embarrassed because he had only collected one drop like us." She laughed a bit. "Not to be discouraged he asked her on a date to this restaurant. One day when they told me the story the said 'Fredrika, if you ever make it to Marr's Pass, you simply MUST go to this restaurant. Preferably with a boy.' My mom added that last part. Little did I know, I'd actually be coming here with one." She smiled. "I suppose it didn't kill me to come here with you. Maybe it's not so bad to take a break now and then."

Nayiana blinked a few times, looking at Baron. Well...That worked, i guess. She smiled innocently then quickly glanced over at Chance and Rex, they didn't seem to have spotted them yet, she then looked back at Baron. "We can stay here, actually, it seems nice and well, there aren't many restaurants around." She blinked a few times, looking at Baron but more like checking out the area that he was covering. "Uhm...Could you sit more over...Here...Though?" She signaled him to move his chair to the left, she smiled innocently and then sighed, deciding to tell the truth. "Sorry...It's just that...Rex and Chance went on a data...I kinda felt jealous and wanted to have one too so..." She scratched the back of her head. "They're right behind you, actually. If you want to go...Feel free." She said while dropping her head, signalling an apology.

"Prefurably with a boy eh? Does your mom think there is something special about this place?" Rex chuckled, "Thanks for inviting me over here though, I was kinda down thanks to the big shot mayor of the town." he spoke spitefully, "Just because I wanted to touch the crystal..." he looked to the side, "I bet he would of let me if I was a chick, my mother told me horrible rumours about him hitting on almost every woman with a caravan.

"Maybe there is," Chance said. "It sure is a nice place." Rex joked that he might have a better chance of touching the crystal if he was with a girl. "Why don't we go back there then?" she asked. "If the mayor shows up, I'll distract him. Then you can touch it allllll you want." She stood up and turned to leave when she thought she saw Baron and Nayiana too. Too far away to be certain. She shrugged. "Come on." She dragged him by the arm again to the crystal.
"It is rather beautiful," she said when they arrived, eyes sparkling.
"Hey! What are you kids- Oh, why hello there, young lady." The mayor was back.
"Okay, my time to shine. You go ahead and do what you wanna do. Just promise to bail me out when you're done." She winked and walked over to the mayor. "Hello to you. We were just stopping by on our travels with the Caravan from Tipa. I was wondering if you could tell me about the city. You look like a smart man."
"Oh, why, yes, ahem. It all started...."
Yeah, yeah, no one cares, ya geezer, Chance thought as he droned on.

Baron shrugged. "I know." He said simply and ordered two cups of ice cream. "I'm here with you, not them." He looked at her with his green hazel speckled eyes. "And, if you ever want some company, feel free to ask." Baron smiled at her. "Here's your order!" A waitress said as she set down two bowels of ice cream infront of them. The strawberry was for Baron and the vanilla was for Nayiana, if she wanted it. "Also, they just left." Baron said, not looking up from his ice cream. He plunged the tiny spoon into his ice cream and began to eat. "Mmm! So good!" It was like he'd never had the stuff before.

OOC : I've just realised I have to go for a week, so my posts will die out for a bit, feel free to force.

This was Rex's chance, thanks to Chance, he was able to touch the crystal. It felt smoother then the one back at home, it almost felt like there was alot more stress on keeping it going strong. I guess that the bigger the crystal the bigger the safe zone, and the more people that rely on it... He stepped back taking his hand off of it and watched in amazment as his handprint slowly disolved off of it. It seems to have a purifying quality? Well that would explain why we are safe near it... He backed off carefully then looked over to Chance, who was seeming to be having a hard time dealing with the town's creepy mayor. Rex grinned, "Time to play with the old man." He walked over to the two.

"Hey I thought we were going to meet up for some alone time? Oh why is the mayor here? is he bothering you? should I make him leave you alone?" Rex grinned at that and moved his hand to his swords handle.

(OoC: Ba da psh. I try so hard to avoid these moments when using that name. lol It's somewhat of an inconvenience but I like the name.)

Rex came to bail Chance out. That must mean he was done playing with the crystal. Finally! she thought to herself. "Oh there you are," she said and turned to him with a smile, playing the part. "I was just listening to this fascinating lecture on the town's history. But now that you're here, let's go back to our room. I have a little special something just for you."
The mayor flustered at her obvious innuendo. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize you had prior engagements. I'll just be going then." He walked away remorsefully.
"Whew," Chance said when he was gone. "Thanks for the save. I thought I was gonna die of boredom. So, how'd you make out?"

OOC : If you were english, satou, you'd have noticed the pun you made that made me sh!t myself laughing.

Har thought after having his second drink, it was time to move out, and restock on supplies. Partly because he was bored, partly he was out of money. Deciding on the obvious way of doing things, he walked up to the financial head of the city. Knowing Han 'well', he went straight through, into his office. He left minutes later with a rather large, bulging bag, stuffed with gold coins. After restocking on magicites, re-enhancing his weapon, and buying a few provisions, he set off into the forest, on a 'borrowed' horse.

Rex looked at Chance and scratched his head, "I didn't learn to much, just stuff that I am sure most yukes and other scholars have known for years, about the crystals purifying the area around them. Also that yuou can never leave a fingerprint or smudge on the crystal." he shrugged, it was pretty fruitless, nothing really great gained. "I don't think it was orth you having to deal witth the mayor for that long actually." he let out a sigh and shrugged, then looked to the sky, "It looks like it is going to get dark soon, I'm going to head to the inn now."

(OoC: lol Which one? "how'd you make out?"? Also, where the heck are you going? lol)

"Well hey, nothing wrong with academic pursuits. And it wasn't that bad. Let's head back together," she walked alongside him back to the inn. "So, you get us separate rooms or am I stuck bunking with you?" she said with a laugh. She hoped she had her own room, or at least one with Nayiana, but she supposed she would survive if she had to share a room with him.

Nayiana blinked a few times, stuck between surprise for what he said, fear for him being able to notice that sort of thing without even looking and happiness he wasn't angry about it. She scratched the back of her head, but then slid down her hand to the frills she had on the sides of her hair and started playing with then. She caught a glance of Rex and Chance walking away when Baron mentioned it but the the ice cream had gotten her attention. "Don't think i've ever eaten one of these..." She said while poking it lightly with her spoon. She examined it for a few more moments and then ate a bit of it.

It was almost as if time had frozen solid, the delicate ice cubes melted inside her mouth, making the taste of vanilla slither it's way through her tongue and then drip down her throat, the chilling sensation mixed with the refreshing taste of vanilla started at her mouth and then spreaded itself through her whole body like the warmth of a fireplace, except it was cold.

Coming back to the real world, Nayiana was still standing in the exact same position with the spoon inside her tongue. Her purple eyes slowly made their way down back to the ice cream. She took out the spoon from her mouth and attacked the ice cream like a hungry monster attacks prey, but still precise enough not to waste a single part of it. Before anyone could completely turn around to realize the girl close to them devouring down the ice cream, she had alredy eaten all of it. She finally took the last bite and then almost unknowingly gave the spoon a quick lick. She rose her hand with the spoon up high in the air and had a huge smile on her face, ready to ask for another bowl.

However, as she was about to, the chilling sensation of the ice cream came, this time concentrated, on her head. As the unbearable headache came she dropped her head and both of her hands, clutching her head and muttered a low cry. She kept silent like this for just a few moments, not caring about the discrete stares she was receiving from the people around. In a matter of seconds, as the headache passed she immediately rose her head and rose her spoon up high again. "I WANT ANOTHER ONE!"

Baron watched Nayiana devour her icecream with a slightly surprised expression. "I take it that you like it?" He asked. It was a rhetorical question but really, that didn't matter. It was becoming very difficult for Baron to keep himself from laughing, his gut felt like it was going to burst from the quiet, now almost uncontrolable giggling that had attacked him ever since Nayiana had attacked her icecream. Suddenly, he couldn't help it anymore and burst into a laughing fit. For such a silent and emotionless person, having a laughing fit in the middle of a restaurant wasn't something you'd see everyday, in fact, it was a very rare occurrence. He stopped laughing for a moment and looked at Nayiana with a grin, "Have as much as you want." I have a feeling I'm gonna regret saying that...oh well. Baron shrugged and went back to eating his own frosty goodness.

Nayiana's purple eyes glistered and sparkled when her ears heard those charitable words come from Baron's mouth. She immediatelly grabbed a menu and searched around for a bit. She then called out a waiter and pointed out to a certain item in the menu. "I want this one!" She said cheerfully. The waiter kept staring back at the order and then at Nayiana, but the shrugged off his comments and just wait to issue the order as he should.

Within minutes, the cook himself came out of the kitchen, the cook was an averagely old man, apparently around his forties. In his hands, he carried an enormous cup of ice cream wich he promptly dropped on Baron and Nayiana's table. Nayiana's jaw dropped and then it all turned into a smile as she went for her spoon. The cook added. "It's been years since anyone ordered this, i missed making this delicacy, thank you very much little miss." Despite giving the cook a slight glare when he said she was little, she decided to pay it no mind and attacked the ice cream. By the time Baron had finished his own ice cream, Nayiana finished hers. It was impressive how a slim girl like her could keep so much food inside of herself. She rolled her tongue around her lips, taking the rest of the flakes that had remained in her mouth. She sighed a sigh of relief and she was about to look back inside the cup to search for any ice cream she had left off, the chilling sensation came, this time insanely much stronger than last time.

Too strong to resist, even, as Nayiana felt that her brain had just frozen solid she instantly fell unconscious, dropping her head inside the ice cream cup. The chef put his hands on his head. "Oh no! Having a client die in my presence is not good for business!" But after a few moments, a low snore could be heard echoing from inside the cup. The brain freeze was extremely strong, yes, but apparently all it had done was knock her off. The chef blinked a few times and then sighed. He turned to Baron. "Well, i have your orders all listed here. That'll be 80 G." The Chef stretched out his hand to Baron, a huge smile on his face, waiting to be paid.

Baron simply laughed at Nayiana and gave the cook 80G. "Have a nice day." He said to the older man then turned back to Nayiana and sighed. Baron stood up and walked over to Nayiana's side of the table, slid her chair back then scooped her up in his arms, her head resting on his chest. Looks like it's time for bed. Baron thought to himself and walked out of the resturant. He spotted Chance and Rex not too far off and decided to meet up with them.

"Hey." He said to his two fellow cravaners, "It's getting late, if we want a good room we should hurry before they're all taken." He looked at Rex, "You're bunking with me, mister."

"Hey guys, what's up?" Chance asked when Baron and Nayiana walked in. "I was just wondering what you two were what up to. Hope you didn't get into too much trouble while we weren't around to keep an eye on you." She laughed a little at that. "So what're the room assignments?" She looked around. "Waaaaait a minute. Where's Haruman? I haven't seen him since we got here. Anyone know where he went?"

Baron shrugged, Nayiana still in his arms. "I have no clue where he went, but if he isn't here when it's time to leave I don't want to be waiting around for him." He leaned his head to one side and cracked his neck then walked into the inn and up to the registry.
"Hello, welcome to the Marr's Pass inn, what can I do for you today?" A lady at the front desk asked Baron as he entered the building. She was a young female Clavat with her pretty black hair pulled back in a braid, keeping the hair out of her cute face.
"Hi, I'd like to take out two rooms for two. One for me and another boy and the other for two girls." Baron replied acting like he took no notice of the female clavat's features, something she was trying to use to flirt with him.
The girl at the desk huffed when she realized that her efforts were in vain then nodded and gave Baron two room keys. Baron took both keys and walked up the stairs to the floor their rooms were on. "Wha- Hey! What about paying?!" The girl at the front desk called up to Baron, who looked over his shoulder and nodded to Rex. "He's paying." With that, Baron walked up the stairs and down the hall 104...104...104 Ah ha! Bron found the girl's room and skillfully opened the door with one hand while still carrying Nayiana. He walked inside the room and set Nayiana down on an empty bed then pulled the covers up over her body. That being done and his duty of taking care of her finished, Baron left the room, closing the door behind him both keys in hand. He returned to the lobby of the inn and held out his hand to Chance, the 104 key in his palm. "Here." He said to her.

(D'oh. I read the post about Nayiana passing out but then I forgot about it. lol)

"Jeez, what'd you do to her Baron?" Chance asked with a laugh. She took the key from him and tossed it up in the air before catching it again. "Don't worry, I'll look after her." She dropped him a wink and walked to her room. Apparently Baron had tucked Nayiana into bed. "What a sweetheart," she said aloud and took off her shirt. She contemplated sleeping entirely in her underwear but decided against it and hopped into bed, falling asleep almost instantly.

"Tch, you make me sound like a pedofile..." Baron mumbled after Chance had gone upstairs to her room. "We better turn in too, Rex. Morning is going to come early for us." He said, turning to his fellow Clavat and yawned. "I'm gonna go wash up. Here." Baron handed Rex the key to their room then walked out of the lobby and over to a near by well.

Rex paid the man in front and continued to where his and Baron's room was, twirling the key on his finger, "Looks good on the outside...and..." he unlocked the door and stepped inside, "Not too shabby on the in side...I think..." he pocketed the lock and looked at the room, it was empty besides from the two beds and a small broken table, "Well...at least there is no bu-" he took a step and heard a crunch, "Okay....least there is no malboro..." HE held his sword tightly and checked side to side, half expecting to be jumped, "Okay...all is good then" he sat on his bed and bounced a bit. Well this is neet I guess. he stood up, took off his armor and flopped backwards onto the bed, lying in the silence. The first town we visted on our journey, And we have to leave tomorrow, kinda a drag, but I heard that this town is the least impressive...makes me wonder if I could handle the others... he mused.

OOC : OK, I was actually on holiday for two weeks, then my computers internet broke, so sorry for taking ages. And ominal, by horse I meant horse-like thing, but I got lazy after my 10 minute post got deleted through accidentally pressing ctrl+w, and in the Tipa maps I found there were forests, so unless the crystal has a retarded shape, or it completely breaks off its power like a wall...

"Haruman! Good to see you again... what are you doing here?" Said Craig, backing into his hut in the forest, as he fearfully say Har approach, with his shortsword gleaming in the sunlight, dancing through from the treetops onto his blade of silver.

"Taking care of some loose ends." Haruman replied, ultimately. He then lifted his sword, and stabbed down like a dagger on the small man, and finished him. He then took the gold and provisions in the immediate area, and checked the small bag, or what remained of it. Pulling out a small note, he read off of it.

THe orange glow of the rising sun had entered the room, the warmth crawling up Rex's leg as he lied on the floor, half holding on to the sheets, which were stilling clinging to the bed. "I don't want to wake up...someone caste blind on me...I want to sleep still..." He moaned and groaned, tossed and turned, but there was no avoiding it. He was waking up.

He finally sat up, the town outside the window just starting to become active, as other caravans and travelers started to head out. "Oh look...there is a group of small metal men...with...Onions?!" Rex jumped and shouted aloud as he pointed out his window at the group of Lilties. He had never seen an unarmored lilty before, he had always thought they were just small clavats with weird hair that liked armor. "Hey hey hey!" Rex was shouting and shaking Baron in his bed to wake him, "There are walking onions out there! come look!"

"That's called a Lilty, my friend." Baron stated, closing the book he was reading. He had been up since before day break practicing his swordplay and had returned to the room he shared with Rex only recently. His long black hair fell past his shoulders and down his bare back, covering a large scar that ran from his right shoulderblade to his left hip. Baron streatched, arching backwards then relaxed and yawned. "I've already packed our things into the caravan, shall we go wake the ladies up?" He asked, looking at his fellow Clavat.

"Lilties..." Rex stred at the little man curiously, So....onion people are the ones that I typically saw wearing armor...hmm... REx continued to stare till a bird caught his eye, and once that was out of sight, he finally answered Baron. "Oh...uhm...okay...Yes, Lets wake the ladies up and go, can't let all the others get all the myrrh." He turned his back to the window, grabbed his stuff, and headed out the door.
