Okay, you guys are going to think this is really retarded, but I discovered this and thought it was kinda funny.

Here's the script, just put it above main:
CODE
def i have your cheese
  print 'You found my cheese!! Thank you!! Collect your prize at yourwebsitehere.com/cheese'
  end

And there you have it. You can make this anything you want. You can even get real nerdy, for instance:
CODE
def end_game
  $scene = nil
  end

Which would turn off the game.

To use this script, just use whatever you put after "def" in a Call Script command. For instance, calling "end_game" in a script command would end the game.

If you wanted to, you could make this do a whole bunch of other stuff. Stuff that I'm too lazy to do right now. You could make sure sophisticated conditional branches.

Yeah, I know this is stupid. Just wanted to post that I figured something funny out xD

This is a joke right?
AdamWired
yes, yes it is a joke, that's why he said it was something a little funny that he figured out for you to get a laugh out of. Any problem with that?
Zackwell
This could be a useful little thing for those who don't know how to do little things like this. XP
I could see it being abused by newbs who want to spam stuff on your desktop.
Failing miserably.

You must be joking as well...

@Redd: I didn't mean to sound rude, if I even did... I'm just a little confused. Are you telling us that you "discovered" that you can define a method and then call it using a "Call Script" Event Command? I just thought this was common knowledge when it comes to RMXP.

Wow, its basic and its cool too smile.gif
But still i love cheese smile.gif
