I once made a CMS in RPG Maker 2000 and you'd open this menu by hitting the ESC key. I cannot figure out how this is done in RMXP. I see the "button input" command but it seems the enter key and ESC key are omitted from use. Any help with this?

The ESC Key is an RMXP Default for the menu. If you go under the help file in RMXP, you will find that the Enter Button is linked to the "C" button (Or was a b...) You need to go by what RMXP considers the accept and decline buttons.

Tip - You can also use the 0 on the number pad for easier reach and faster use.

Disable the actual menu and link your CMS to another key instead.

The easiest solution is to use a full keyboard script and select the key you want to use to call your menu..simple huh?
