Christ, for such a tiny little script, there's a lot that could be done with this. Good work.

If you're thinking of updating, you might want to set it up for the option to be class-based learning instead, as some people prefer that. But yeah, either way, damn.

Good idea, I'll try..

Uhm.. I have a similar script like this, and in the script,
the actors have a higher chance on learning a skill if they are guarding. smile.gif

I think you should implement that, too.

Also, you could add this
CODE
$data_system.sounds[14].play #Sound.play_recovery

before the add instant text.

Or better yet, have it customized by enabling users to change the sound
easily.

I searched for scripts like this before writing it, but don't found anything but blue mages. Good idea the higher chance on guarding and sound, i'll try to do that. I Also noticed that I don't have a check for loss control when not guard learning, I'll try to add all that soon.
<edit> Done.

Could be good if they actualize the script index pinned to avoid redoing scripts that are already created like this. Lazy asses.

Problem with your script box man. i tried to plug it in my script section and it took up only one line... so i tried to put it in a notepad and it did the same thing even with word wrap... its jumbling everything up.

just thought you should know.. other than that excellent script mate the possibilitys for this seem endless!
//mitchi.exe
You should make a demo as well. >.<

I can't find any problem on copy pasting from the codebox. It's true that copying from the codebox eates some spaces, but the script works fine.

I found a bug while checking that xD, was about checking some data before getting it, that messes the learning for first actor. Is fixed now.

I can leave a .txt download, but a demo seems pointless to me, is only:
1. Paste the script.
2. Add the tags in the skill notefield.
3. Add the skill to a enemy.
4. Battle with that enemy.
nevious
i understand how that can seem pointless and a text file is cool thanks man.. idk if its my computer thats doin it or what but anytime i get scripts from codeboxes it messes it all up....
leongon
I leaved a .txt download, dude. Check the first post.
nevious
i got it and thank you

Small actualization: Now you set the learning sound effect directly by filename.

Cool to be checked out. Chuck Norris approved it!

EDIT: Sorry for spamming, I just couldn't let the joke pass by biggrin.gif
leongon
Is not spam as it's a requirement for the script to work properly icon_teacher.gif So if you are using it anyway you are without warranty whistling.gif

holy mother of crap that is epic! i just cant for the life of me use blue mage type scripts but this is DIFFERENT!
new
working great! so if i want multiple actors/ class to learn a skill i jsut have to put the <learnable who chance> repeatedly.
