Introduction
Lets actors and enemies steal skills from each other in battle. Stolen skills will last the whole battle. Enemies will not use stolen skills to maintain compatibility reasons.

How to Use
This goes into an item or skill notebox.

CODE
<steal spell: string>

This will cause the casting unit to steal the spell from the target. Replace string with the exact name of the spell you want stolen. All cases of spells with the same name will be stolen (this includes caps and spaces). Use multiple cases of this notetag if you want to steal more than one skill.

Compatibility
This script is not compatible with goody-two-shoes.

So this script can't be used freely? You can only steal spells randomly? Or am I just plain stupid and missing something ^^
Shanghai
Why not try it out yourself?
Scriptless
I'l try it out, will post back with results.

Edit: Ah I see what you mean now, replacing the string with the skill you want to be stolen. I'm going to try now to see if the notes also re act to players too.

Edit: I get a script error at line 230 "member.clear_temp_stat_boosts"
Shanghai
Fixed. Try again.

What do you mean by item or skill notebox? Wouldn't it be easier to just put in enemy notes?
Shanghai
Do you even understand this script at all?
Scriptless
Not at all ^^

But instead of just asking maybe explain?

I would like to understand.
Shanghai
It's explained in the instructions already if you weren't so lazy to read it.
Scriptless
Sorry, I'll try re reading it. smile.gif

This script seems really awesome and I'm sad that it doesn't fit in with the theme of my current project. Though I will use this in my next project.

Also I just wanted to say that I love your no-nonsense way of dealing with people, Shanghai, it's really helped me look at the script and not just rely on other people to figure out how scripts work. So thank you. happy.gif
