Hi all,
I'm a developer experimenting with RPG Maker XP for game development. I have some maps I've made in a bitmap editor and I'm just wondering if there's anyway I can import each one and make a tiled map out of it without having to split them all up?
Thanks in advance.

I think what you'd do is load the picture as a background image on the map, then put invisible walls on it where they should be.

a non-scrolling panorama should work better; because a picture would cover the character, whereas the panorama would be under the character. And if you decide to do that, make sure the map's height and width is dividable by 32.

Thanks for your response. Would there be a way to make more room in the tileset and upload the entire map as a collection of tiles? The reason I'm thinking of this is because it would probably be a lot easier to edit boundaries, events, and such compared to using a panorama...
