Full Version: File Corrupt
I just got far into making my game when I open the game today it says "Unexpected File Format". I know theres no way to recover the game, but is there a way to transfer the games maps and events in the map over to the new game(pretending the transferred files arent corrupt). I spent hours getting what I got done. Would System reboot help?
Ok, I solved my problem, looks like the map files and the events in them are fine, but I have to make about 9 new projects to recover my map files naming each of the maps Map001.

For future reference if you cant fix the problem by that method, the problem might just be with the .RVPROJ file. if it is, it'll be fixed by doing this:
CODE
1) Open notepad
2) Type "RPGVX 1.NN" (without the quotes)
3) Replace NN with the version of RMVX you have. If you don't know which version you have just put 00
4) Go File>Save as and under the 'save as type' section choose 'All Files'
5) In the 'File Name' box put "Game.RVPROJ" (WITH the quotes)
6) Save
7) Replace the game.rvproj with your corrupted project's file
8) Test
