I bought a key for RPG maker XP, like, 3 years ago, and I recently got a new computer. it won't let me activate the mofo on this cmputer because I've 'already used my key'. I tried putting the activation code in, I tried copying the key data from my old computer - nothing.

I can't even find a phone number or email to contact enterbrain about this, and I'm getting rather upset - I don't like the idea of spending 60$ on this AGAIN juts because their server is retarded.

has anyone else run into this problem and managed to overcome it?

ijust installed PMXP on this computer i had no trouble.. i used the email they sent me ages ago to do it.. search ur email

I did. problem was it was last week. apparently they restart their servers every year or so.

Wow, I'm having the same problem. My old comp. died and I'm getting a messege that I'm my serial # is already regestered. I'll check to see if I still have the email. was over a year ago though.

I had this problem last year when I started tinkering with RPG Maker XP again. I just sent Protexis an email and they generated a new activation code for me. I would respond to the original email you received from them and explain what happened. They resolved it very quickly.

Best to email support, or go their website and look for help.

This is exactly why I don't pay for programs unless I get a hard-copy...
