Good day people. I have recently transfered to windows 7. I do not have internet on my home computer. On vista I used the availible registry script to bypass the NTiltles Error (See
Site) However this does not seem to work in windows 7. I was wondering if anyone knows a way to bypass this error on windows 7 WITHOUT the internet. A swift answer would be apriciated.

It's not possible, the only way to download it without being connected to the internet is through cracked versions of the software.
Also, Windows 7 is practically the same build as Vista with fixes, so it should work. What Windows 7 are you running? If you have professional or ultimate you can download a small Windows XP or Vista on your computer so you can always click Run As.. Windows XP or Vista for example.

I don't think this is about fixing an error, it's about getting the program for free lol

It is not about getting it for free,
I had vista, tranfered to seven. Now I can't edit my game without changing ops. I bought it but now I can use it. I could use the reg fix on vista but It doe not work on 7.
Did you try running the installer with Administrator privledges and/or did you try running the installer with the Windows UAC options set to 'Off'?

Ty has a good point, to disable those functions, go to your start bar, search UAC. then go into it, and set t all the way to the bottom "off" Once you're done that restart your computer.

I have done that......
I can install it....
It is just once I install it I can start it to place my key for it needs to get the "trial" key. I want to bypass the trial to enter my key.

I think I sneezed so hard, my eyes almost flew out and dropped my brain on the floor. I'm just really allergic to BS, y'know. Windows 7 is a completely new O.S, hence the "7."
Anyway, if you really want RMVX to run, skip the BS with cracks and registry edits. Just use the .dll file for a registered version; you can find them hovering all over the Internet.

Apr 24 2010, 06:34 PM
7 is the new Vista, if you had used the 7 build in construction you would know this, the statement you posted is BS. So you should be allergic to your own message.
Microsoft does this with every sucky OS. Take Windows 2K for example, or Windows ME.

Oh, I'm sorry; I've only used every Windows operating system since 3.1. And my laptop I just bought today is Windows 7, which is completely different from shit-tastical Vista, which was just a remake of XP. I mean, I can actually work Windows 7, where-as I couldn't even take a piss in the toilet with Vista without it giving me dozens of warnings. Nevermind the G.U.I. makes Vista users bawl, "Where's my old G.U.I? Wah!"
No, seriously; go to Microsoft's website and look up the operating specs for XP, Vista, and 7. And get your foot out your mouth and your fists out of your ass while you're at it.

Vista isn't as bad as it is. I feel as if people are stereo typing it. It is Microsoft's worst OS, but believe it or not it was a rough build for 7.
I have 7 too, and I can tell you yeah it works much greater than Vista!, yet this is because Microsoft improved on their previous product.

Excellent job, Scriptless. You want to derail this subject into a debate of Windows 7 = Vista. Well, being a troll, I'm fine with that.
How can Vista, which was built onto XP, have been a preliminary build for 7, which was completely built from scratch? That's just an asinine comment.
I'm not stereotyping Vista; I authentically worked with it and authentically hated it. If everyone else felt the same way, well good for all of us.
Additionally, because Vista was an add-on to XP, that's why there were no XP emulators for Vista (even though certain XP programs wouldn't work on Vista). However, 7 does have a XP emulator, because they are totally different operating systems.

Well, if Rookie Mod Law_G14 was here, he would probably make some asinine comment like, "Well, Scriptless was the one who mentioned Windows 7 is Windows Vista, so Scriptless started it." I don't care where you want to argue about something being built from scratch is an add-on to a previous O.S. which was actually the add-on itself. Because apparently, despite the evidence available on Microsoft's website, you want to believe something that's not true. And I can't stop you from believing that.

http://www.pcworld.com/article/153624/unde...istas_twin.htmlOther than that, you do not have to be so rude, it's a debate not a competition to insult one another. This is my opinion, and so is this article's and that's that. You believe otherwise. No point in arguing about it. I was actually serious about discussing this with you, however I see you don't really like me that well. So forget it.
Otaku Son
Apr 24 2010, 06:59 PM
Oh, okay! It's an opinion here! Because it read to me like you were writing is as though it were a chiseled-in-stone fact. And so now, you present me with a long blog which I don't have time to read in order to make a prompt reply to this debate; I'll file it away to read later.
Except I did read down to the part where the guy who wrote the article was using the pre-release beta to make his judgments.
Scriptless
Apr 24 2010, 07:00 PM
Even if it is pre-released it is still a operating system based from Vista. Also, if you don't have time to read that article why do you have time to even read this? The fact is, your not making a lot of sense.
Otaku Son
Apr 24 2010, 07:06 PM
Aside from your inability to properly use your/you're, you need to re-read what I wrote in my previous message:
QUOTE
I don't have time to read in order to make a prompt reply to this debate
I'm a troll in the middle of an argument right now; I'm not going to waste ten or fifteen minutes reading about someone comparing the pre-release beta of a built-from-scratch O.S. to a long-been-out O.S. which was built on top of a previous O.S. And apparently, things have been changed drastically from the pre-release beta to the full release, and even the few months after release. Which I still fail to get how you (and this guy)
think Windows 7 was built on Vista, because it was
built from scratch. How many times have I stated that?
EditNow that you've given me ten minutes to read through the article, here are the glaring flaws in that article:
1) It wasn't even "pre-release beta"; it was "pre-beta."
2) That article was written in 2008; practically one year before the release date.
3) The article ends with "from what we've seen of Windows 7 so far,[...]"
Yes, what they they had seen so far on November 10, 2008 at 3:15 PM was a "broken twin of Vista." Thank gods for beta-testing and improvement before final release.
That article is a heaping pile of shit, just like this argument. And yes, I am fully aware that I include my own contributions to this heaping pile of shit argument.

Heaven forbid, my English isn't the greatest. However, we are talking about OS 7. So don't change the subject.
Where is your proof that it was built from scratch? If you show me, then at least I know I was wrong, and I will apologize.
Otaku Son
Apr 25 2010, 05:05 AM
Well now, I concede to have lost this argument. And now it's time for me to get out my spiked nail bat and start smacking around everyone who told me, "Windows Vista was built on XP, and 7 is completely new."
Because I used a search engine (Yahoo; screw Google) and found not only is Scriptless correct, but Windows 7 is actually Windows 6.1. They're doing the AOL crap now.
I concede defeat. But that doesn't mean I didn't have fun with this argument, even if I lost. I have thoroughly enjoyed this argument, even if I was an incorrect ignorant fool. And as the author of the trolling guide, that's all that matters to me.

Still, I would like to add that even if Winows 7 is based off Vista, the two systems are completely different now, regardless of whatever similarities (or 7's brokenness) they might have had a year ago. And once all my Steam and EA games download two years worth of updates, I'll be a very happy camper with this laptop.
