this is my first post here, i hope ppl can help me with this just started on making my game and was wondering how can i make it so that my character can move freely (up down left right AND diagnaly) smoothly just like that game i tried Soul's heaven

also i want to find out how to make a side finalfantasy style fight instead of the whack front view

To make a diaganol system..I dunno, I'm looking for one aswell

To make a side-view battler, go into the RPGMakerVX scripts forum and look for something that looks like "Tankentai side-view battle system". That'll be what your looking for.

To make a chest, right-click on your map and choose treasure chest.

There are scripts that can do this, such as KGC_Dash_8DirMove.

Additionally, I seem to recall distributing KGC scripts through forums isn't allowed... by the author himself, at any rate. Though, there is a site that offers all the scripts for download, so I'm really a bit confused to what the author wants of his scripts...
