Hello again everyone. I was wondering if anyone has figured out how to make a Doomed status effect (that is, a state that has a countdown and inflict death upon reaching zero) using common events and/or variable? I ask this because I am not capable of scripting. If anyone knows how to pull this off and cares to share I'd be grateful. Thanks.

You could make it with a timer ;-)

I know there's a Doom event system out there in the Tutorials and Examples section (For XP). I couldn't find it, but I am about to post a Doom system in the Event Emporium. It's a bit rudimentary, but it works.

EDIT: By "about to", I mean "in a day or two". Sorry.

The problem with using a timer, aside from the fact that I don't know how to set this up, is that a player could hit an enemy with doom and then not do anything (not select any attacks, skills, etc) while the timer ticked away and killed the enemy.

I'll keep an eye out for it. Thanks to both of you for the replies.
