My computer shut down with out saving anything and with out properly closing files (BSOD) and so ya now my project I have put hours into and was ready to releases demo of wont open - do i have to start from scratch?

if it's saying failed to load common event data, you may only need to replace that file. (get a clean common events.rxdata and move it into your project, but backup the other one first.)

Always create backups of your projects and store them in a safe place. General rule of thumb.
