When I test a project or play a downloaded game there are no sound effects or music. When I'm editing a game I can set and play sounds but nothing in game. How do I fix this?

Try restarting your computer, I got this if I played an mp3 in my music player, before starting RPG Maker. If that doesn't work reinstall RPG Maker.
