So I am using this site to create chibi sized sprites for my game: http://www.famitsu.com/freegame/tool/chibi/index1.html , but when I download the image and try to use it I get this problem on my screen :

It only lets me select a small portion of the sprtie. Does anyone know what the issue is and what I can do?

EDIT: Nvm I neglected to look in the forums, where of course I found ym answer immediately. Thank You :]

Kain_Omen
The sprite sheet isn't the correct dimensions. The required sprite sheet is this size:

[Show/Hide] Sprite Sheet

Scriptless
Wow game.. no offense but that's a fail, either he's using an old computer Windows 98 or less, or the interface was made like that by properties. Yours looks like that cause it's vista =P need to learn your facts man. AND ITS VX D:< Btw just put a $ before the characters name and it will work.

ok, famitsu.com creates RMVX style sprites, which will come out wrong if you are using RMXP. If that is VX, your problem is it is in the wrong format, like Kain_Omen said. Here is how to fix that. Got to Resources, then export actor 1. Open up your custom made character in paint (or another similar Paint Program), then open up Actor 1. In your character, select Image->select all. Then Edit->copy. Go to actor 1 and press edit-> paste. you can either clear out the other characters or keep them there. Upload that saved image into your RMVX game, and it will come out normally.

Hope that helped!

i got windows 7 but i think it looks them same idk...

I know it's VX. For one, the graphic menu for XP has completely different things in it such as:

001-Fighter01
002-Fighter02
003-Fighter03

and etc.

And another thing that is a dead giveaway that it is VX is that if you look closely in the bottom left-hand corner of his screen shot, "Below Characters" located in the "Trigger" box has the drop down arrow that you click, whereas in XP it has all of those choices listed out and are selected by clicking a circle, and not from choosing a drop down menu.

To avoid any further confusion on this subject...
Crazeeyak please just place $ in-front of that sprite sheets name you have there and it will work.

EDIT: Scriptless pointed that out on his last sentence, didn't notice sorry.

Just open photoshop and then re size the image to the appropriate size its a very simple fix.

Actually its simpler than that. Put a $ in front of any file you save before you import it and you should be find.

EDIT: Opps "fine" not "find" lol
