Hello everone, well I was just wondering on what you thoughts where in this matter. I love the rm series of making game maker's. But as we all know there is always room for improvement. And I was wondering what do you feel that enterbrain could have done or aid to make there game makers better?

Well, unless someone reports it for the mods to find it, it probably won't be closed. And since I've yet to come across the other thread, I'll not be the one to report this one.
On that note, Enterbrain continually devolved the RPGMaker engine after 2003. Thank gods for the scripters who helped bring back a lot of the good stuff that Enterbrain took out (KGC is my hero!).

Personally, I think you're right about that, Otaku.
Enterbrain started to gear towards "Anyone can make an RPG with this software!", rather than "You can make awesome games with this software!". I don't mean that about their advertising campaign, but I mean that about the engines in general - they simplified the battle systems, simplified the mapping (starting with VX), simplified the eventing, simplified almost everything. The problem with that is that the XP and VX battle systems aren't very good, despite requiring less battle- and sprite-making, the VX mapping makes everything look ridiculously blocky, and the ratio of new events to dropped events is unfortunately in favor of the latter. Among other things.
