I think it looks a bit more mature. You added the years on to her well. But maybe you should try one more time...I dunno something looks wierd.


But you should try to make 2 more faces with the Trial. It looks good.

@TaFresh: Yeah, the trial has a bunch of little quirks I have to fix, it was more of a rough cut, I'll have a better version out tomorrow. Thank you for your input.

I just wanna know what part of her makes it look like that, cause I don't see it (It's kinda hard for me to see these things cause I make em). Is there a particular feature that stands out?

... Better than the older ones, but it's still not good looking. You should try to edit her face too (no need for redraw her outfits include hair, just the face like mouth and eyes)

Ok, I'll try again one last time with her, and unless there's a terrible downgrade, I'll just leave her as is and continue on with other characters, maybe if I gain a bit more experience I can try again and fix her if needed.

It seems people at RMVX.net community and the RRR agree that it's mostly her features that look misplaced. I'm going to try to do the following: Work with her nose, move the mouth, and try to get something done with the eyes. The major problem with the eyes, is her hair. Because, if you don't understand, I'm not drawing anything, I'm simply using a combanation of various tools to move around what's already been drawn but, she has a very weird hair complex and her eyes/hair change based on some of the emotions, so doing this is rather challenging but, I'll take a shot at it. I'll post another version before the end of today.

i actually think attempt 2 is not bad at all

btw remember art for anime etc is often stylized.. so once you settle on a style even if its a tad weird ppl will get used to it just make sure there's clear definitions between the male and female i agree the first edit looked male the second attempt looked good imho

there's one very popular anime artist that doesn't put any noses on anyone not even the little dash like line noses for example

for refrence might want to look at the characters from clanned vs clannad after story you can see the same chars school aged vs adults its a very fine line.
