I don't know if this issue has been adressed elsewhere, but I can't seem to get the Quest system to work. Unless I'm missing something obvious in the script for input, any attempts at making a quest using the server client config causes everything to crash. Looking into the DB (As in, the mySQL DB.) does not show any tables that I can modify or create for quests (I'm using Navicat, but I viewed everything on SQLyog to check and there where no invisible tables or anything that Navicat chose to ignore.)

Is there something I am missing to create quests? The ones included in the demo are still there, but I can't seem to find a shred of how to modify or even duplicate them anywhere.

Hi Gyus i'm New! I Working along Time with the Vampyr Telam Ludus but i must be saying the new Version 1.6.1R2 had a big big BUG!

The New Version is Stopping by "create_servers_list" in the Databank under Scene_Servers!

I have a Windows 2008 Server and i install the Script Complete, i started the Server and Creating a Room! Successfully! =)

Then i will play the Game, it became the Logo Screens and then Stop the Game -.-. My Mouse Cursor is Freezing and i must be Exit the Game...

I have no Ideas, then the old Telam Ludu's 1.6.0 is good Starting and Connecting but 1.6.1 not why?

Please Help!

1. You probably didn't query the new database.
2. Mouse cursor is freezing because it's probably not the correct database.
3. Dunno. If you still can't get it working, just use 1.6.0.
4. It's called a Bump, not a Push, and people don't general bump topics because it usually will get answered at one point or another.

I have no Idea's then the Game is Connecting Perfectly when i use the Game with Version 1.6.0. When i Loading the Database from 1.6.1 in my SQL Server is the Serverclient Perfectly Connecting to the Clientfolder/SQL Database and the Server going Online =D.

the Gameclient is Conencting to Server but he shows me not Rooms can you me not Help? Please =)

I'm using EasyPHP 5.3.3.1 . I've loaded database, changed server host and host to 127.0.0.1 and port to 50000, selected client, started server, run game, it shows only title screen. Help please ...

I, too, have this problem. I have done all the steps correctly(as far as I can tell), and the screen freezes before showing the rooms. I am currently running 1.6 and it is fantastic. I would much like to use 1.6.1 soon.

Hi guys! I have some news to say, but some of those news aren´t good...

First of all I want to thanks everyone who are watching the development of this great project. You help me a lot and it is very thanksfuly to know that my work is appreciated for all of you.
Secound, as you should know, Im with financial problems. That´s why the project is paused. But not stopped! Some days ago I has some amazing ideas talking with some friends, I wrote it to don´t forget xD.

Finally, Im trying to return to the project on next month (January) but I really don´t know if it will be possible. If I got a job the pause will be prolonged even more...
I want to let clear that the project will never stops! It is only paused coz my problems (and also my violin classes as you know xD) That´s it. Mery christmas for all and happy new year!

It might just be a problem with my computer, but when I set up Telam Ludus but with only the database being connected, I exit the program, see it delete a bunch of files, I start it back up, but then it suddenly just decides to delete the same files again and close. In under a second too >_>
Any tips?

Can somebody please help with 1.6.1R2?
When i start the client it goes through all the logo scenes but then just stops at the title screen with nothing but the pretty purple background and my cursor is frozen.
Upon checking the Client Log this is what is written:

It seems a reoccurring error as it has been logged 4 times and I have tried the client 4 times.
I did everything right to set up the server and the database looks fine in Navicat Premium.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I really want to use this system.
Also here is some technical info if you need it:
MySQL Version: 5.5.8
OS: Windows 7 Professional x64
RAM: 6GB DDR2
CPU: 4 core AMD Phenom II

This is so awesome, very hard for a newbie to set up however.
I finally got my server up but I get a problem, when I start the game.exe file I get this frozen screen
with a big cursor in the middle, nothing happens.
Please help, I will try more on my own, but doubt I can fix it. :s

EDIT: Now it's saying: Server is offline. God... Maybe I have to change something in the script
section, please someone tell me exactly what to change there.

Have you got a static IP/ Hamachi / No-IP? If you aren't using 'em, it might be becuase your IP changed.

Yes erm. Hi all ^^ im back to Telam Ludus soo about ppl haveing problems with inserting the database i recommend useing WAMP for quick and easy importing at phpmyadmin. and As for the Mouse Freezing thing in my last game i fixed that but forgot what i did...... So we only have to hope some one thinks of something or just wait for the next release and hope its fixed.

The mouse freezing when you have just started the game? Before selecting the server? Just go to phpMyAdmin or MySQL client and add a column named "Room" at the end of the table. Hope that will help. ^^

EDIT: I've missed to tell you that the table to edit is the connection table. LOL

By the way...
How do you make a room. I see no room selection or anything else.
The room space is blank and there are no rooms in the database either.
Not even in the scripts.

I'm using 1.6.1RC2.

There's a place to make rooms in the server, it comes with a default room, but that room isn't actually in the DB, it took some fidgeting for me to get that one room into the db (However, my other rooms didn't transfer over), but the thing still froze. I suppose everyone either has to switch back to just 1.6, or wait for Vlad's update.

It's weird that I don't actually get any other rooms than the default one. The box for the room is blank and also, it works perfectly fine.
I get no actual errors except the usual client bugs that I fixed.

There's even no room select.=_=
I wanna see the error itself too in personal so I can try to fix.

Ah, another little bug, when i click "Select Character" after logging in another character, the HUD still beeing displayed. And it obviusly crash.

Oh, that usually happens. Dunno why by its a bug but I that fixed before myself.
Maybe try to look what does it and look it up in the scripts.

Where can i find a simple step by step guide for setting this up ? I have been trying all day but seem to be going round in circles. ive followed a couple of tutorials and keep getting message ""Failed to connect to Database!" I have downloaded and installed MySQL and .HeidiSQL.
