Hi I'm Having a little trouble with this: OK so I go in start the client, log in, connect... but then it says Unable to find Data/Map000.rvdata
I've looked everywhere for it in the client and in server folders. I don't know if i never got it in the download or not.
And I'm using version 1.0.9

We can't get a new one because he hasn't uploaded it to his new website yet. She can still make the maps and everything for her game and just put it in the new version

Anyways, just looked back at the post you needed help on. Tell your cousin to re-install SQLCE as Administrator. If that doesn't work, ask him to run it again in compatibility mode.

I'll tell clone to re-upload it again, so don't get too impatient peoplez.

I have a slight compatability issue I am guessing. I am using a patching script I found on RMRK and when I tried to load the script during the game, it just darkens the screen and doesn't show any of the dialog and basically renders it useless, can't even quit the window.

Both scripts work great seperatly, however when put together, it renders the patching useless.
If a screenshot is needed, I will post one. Any help on this would be great.

Also could someone link me to the site for this, I can't find the link and think I may not have the latest version.

Simply find a separate patcher that doesn't need RPGMaker VX (Like, a Ragnarok Patcher) and use that.

However, I haven't had the chance to update the VNG script page yet, so I'll notify you guys here when it's up. (So, right now, VNG is unavailable for download there.)

hmm do you have any suggestions as to which patcher to use?

but it can't remove registered skill.
If I want to remove registered skill,
I must go to [main menu] - [skills] - And I must choose empty square and press 1 or 2 or 3 button.
It's uncomfortable ! (It's Temporary method.)

It's a disadvantage of whole ABS version.
There are common ABS systems in rpgvx world.
For example, Your Requiem and Crissaegrim.


In short, Being Not able to remove skill in Hud and registeration is the biggest disadventage
in ABS world !!!!!

Until now, You have been neglecting it.

Xzygon's advice wasn't useful.
shapeshifting is used when actor is attacked from the enemy by special skills.
It's not used in removing registered ABS skills.

I'm not really an expert regarding MySQL...

I looked at the MS Word Read Me file instructions, but It doesn't really tell how to configure the server.
I have downloaded MySql 5.1.44, installed it, etc. But I can't seem to find/configure the database accordingly.

Can someone make a quick 5-step guide to do so, please? :/

Hmm.. I can easily connect to database but then when I press "Start server" it says: "Connection to the server failed"... And when I launch the game I get "Script 'Winsock' line 375 error.. what's wrong?

i got news, im working on 1.6 rc2 version, with global monsters, party and pvp, besides some bugs fixed, some parts of kernel remade and new network players code.

Look at this question. As you can see, you can set skills in 1,2,3 hotkeys.

But on the contrary, You can't remove memorized skills in hotkeys.
You must make skills remove in HUD and in Hotkey system. (I mean It must be cleared and empty !!)

My biggest problem is the LAG.. what am I doing wrong cause it lags like hell.. and I got a good CPU, that's not the problem (Quad Core 3.6GhZ~)

It's either your computer (GHz don't really matter, sometimes its how old/dusty your computer is. And the RAM that's still free.)

No, you can add your own custom sprites. Vlad's not going to supply you with it. Dun be lazy.

That's been up and running for awhile, just make more Actors that have the Knight Class and have [Male] or [Female] in their name...

With the new SQL database system, I'm finding it impossible to setup anyway to get the required database information.
I know about the mysql.txt file, but I can't obtain it using the program I am right now, but myphpadmin is practically impossible to setup. I can't find any way to install it.

A guide to install it would be nice, or a server that uses the old SQL database. The new system is just too confusing for me to get..That, Or i'm barking up the wrong tree.

Thanks for the help, but that tool is pretty useless, doesn't give me any information about the sql database and the TXT file I need from the sql database installed on my machine.
There has to be someone that knows how this thing works, seeing as how few people have problems with the new version.
