I think I'ma take a break guys. My lack of posting would assume I've taken a long enough break already, but I haven't had any real motivation to post...maybe I'm just lazy but bare with me. Anyway if anyone wanna take control of any of my characters do so by all means. I can't really say why I'm taking a break...too much to type. I'll be back eventually.

His most recent assignment is to silence a group of travelers who killed a pair of ruined ones.

The problem is, there are a few things that still need to get wrapped up before we can move on.
-Jimba and Allistor need to finish their fight one way or another, which means someone needs to take a dive, or (and this isn't very likely now that Al's got his memory back and confessed) they need to put aside their differences.
-Xavier needs to be neutralized somehow (not necessarily killed, we shouldn't do that without Spirit's permission, but we can at least foil his plans for the time being), lest demonic hell be rained down upon the city on top of all our other problems.
-Oliver needs to finish up the longest bath in history (He's gonna be shriveled up like a prune

And with the whole Xavier issue, what if we make a barrier around the tower that cannot be broken through pact magic (which is what Xavier uses since he has a pact)? Make it part of some old Warlock spell or something, because I really hae a bad case of writer's block with the whole Xavier issue.

I'm kind of struggling with it too, but I just had an idea.
It might be sort of a cop-out, but perhaps we've already beaten Xavier. Remember that crystal Aggie smashed in Xavier's lab? The one with all that magic going around inside of it? Maybe he was drawing power from that. With his source of energy gone, he can't complete the spell without killing himself, and it will take years to gather up that much energy again. Granted, he'd have realized something has gone wrong by now (and probably have done something extremely nasty to that old mage Aggie body-jacked for his incompetence) and will be looking for Aggie to exact revenge. We have a confrontation, and Aggie and Kaydius (and Nobu and A'Sia if they make it to the party) will probably be forced to run like Hell upon realizing they're outmatched, straight into the waiting arms of the Silishallans who try to arrest Aggie (The poor girl can't catch a break, can she?)
After they escape, Xavier realizes the people of Morento have turned against him and his operation in Morento is effectively ruined, and he packs up his branch of the Magus clan and goes into hiding; after all, people are fickle, and what's another decade or two to a man who has transcended death? To him, this is just a setback, albeit an enormous one.
This also lets us keep Xavier around and gives him a good reason to want an eventual rematch, or at least send some Magus clan grunts to irritate us every now and then. La La, I assume, would still be alive and in Xavier's clutches, since for some reason he needs her to cast whatever spell he was trying to cast.

what if... Xavier drain's a small portion of all of his mages ' magic and stores it in those crystals. That crystal was unfinished, but he has four or five others.
So he is still very powerful, but set back just enough (say a week or two) to not hunt us down.
Instead he seal the tower and drains all of the mages inside to a crisp, then (just before he tries to cast the spell) the barrier falls and we get to go in

So why not just skip Morento altogether? and instead create a situation where the group is being chased by Magus grunts or whatever? Like the entire group is on one ship, boat, whatever that moves fast and the magus are chasing them in something that moves fast. Otherwise, I think the rp will slowly die if we don't make something drastic happen.

Meanwhile Leonard [he's back] is nearly taken by a shilly guard, but he sticks a cig in the guys eye and makes a run for it. He picks up a couple of the group (wrap up any loose threads) and eventually he finds a warehouse type thing, and inside is that most famous of princes who is trying to get his ship running so that he can blow this joint. Leonard helps out in return for him letting them on.
Xavier is all "I'm a kill you now!"
then the skylight breaks and a bunch of ropes fall down, we all grab the ropes and do a runner just in time for the shillys to chase us down, however, the magus clan also have ships and we make a little time because they begin fighting, but then they join up and start attacking us again.
and so on on from there...

Born and raised in Morento, since young age she had constant contact with plants her mother being the owner of a flower shop and responsible for keeping the beauty Morento's park. As her mother got older, she learned how to cook using several different "green" ingredients, her high knowledge about the most different plants got her interested into alchemy. She knows of several teas, poultices, potions and the like wich have the most different healing effect, on the side, she also knows a lot about poisons. She accidentally joins the group after being helped by Oliver.

Despite her seemingly frail and innocent appearance she has a dark and sinister side wich she only shows in rare occasions. Despite all those bad sides, she's a good person, i swear.

Background: The sone of King Baschuan and an airship enthusiast, Theodore left welstarm 4 years ago to work in Airship design.
He had an accident on an airship when he was a young child, the same accident which killed his mother, however, rather than causing him to completely detest airships, it gave him inspiration to improve them much more and to make them safer so no more accidents would be caused.
However, he was sent into a depression when one of his designs were proven flawed in a terrible accident that killed a crew and several passengers, to protect Theodore, The king took the blame and credit for the failed designs. Theodore was not completely free from punishment, he was beaten by his father and looked upon with disgust by those that knew the truth.
Theodore himself is actually not that great of an Airship engineer and his repuatation is rather poor, although he has much enthusiasm.
In truth, his position is only higher up due to his royal status which Theodore is partly aware of.
Personality: Often cheerful but speaks with a stutter, he is easy to talk to although matters involving his father are almost impossible to discuss with him, discussion involving his mother is easier to talk too but often puts him in a depressing mood. He is known however to say that he wants nothing to do with his father, the only reason he left Welstarm 4 years ago is because he was given permission to leave due to his age. He is known to be rather scared by military looking people and will be found hard to talk to because of this, often requesting a second person in the room not affliated with the person that wishes to speak with Theodore.

If you'd like a summary...
Akriloth, Aggie and Kaydius defeated Alexander, a strange ass creature that seems to have come out of some anime addict perverted mind, Damien was knocked out during the fight and is currenlty apparently being possesed by the ruined one from he wich tried to steal power from, Jimba and Allistor are still fighting, Le Gato shows to have no sense of direction at all, Oliver took the longest bath in history, Oliver got out of the bath and was glomped by Dixie, Oliver had just helped a girl named Grace to recover her flower cart. Drake got mobbed by Silishalan soldiers, who seem to be, alongside with Morento, working to kill the survivors from Welstarm, again. Leonard showed his awesome fighting skills by sticking a cigarrete in a guard's eye and is now gathering up survivors so they can make a go for it to an airplane and then rocket out of Morento. Drake went "fuck you guys, i'm going home" and is currently escaping the prison. Aggie and Kaydius are charging into the room where Xavier supposedly would be.
I think that's about it.

Start with Xavier greeting Aggie and who ever was with her. That should get you started and if you can't think about what to do with Nobu and Asia leave them off for now and come back when you have some ideas.

Yeahh....So instead of having to rush the battle with Allistor and somehow make it on time, I'll have Jimba flee to Eurastus, then regroup with everyone. Or he'll fight his way out and reunite with them. So you guys dont have to worry about Jimba anymore.
