Temple of the Gervaronians


An ancient temple in the far north of Morento. The Temple was made ages ago by a goup of people called the Gervaronians who used to oam the continent. The Gervaronians were a people who are said to have believed they were the one true superior children to the Great God of all Gervaros. They claimed that while thee were other races who are the sons of the other gods an Gervaros, they were the original sons with the most bloodline relation to Gervaros. No one knows what happened to the Gervaronians or why the Temple was made, but it's said it was used for rituals that were needed for the Gervaronians.

Jarvis knows alot about them, and seems to have a goal there as well. But what could it be? (Highlight to see!) He wants to use the ancient magic there to revive somebody, even though it's forbiden, and he knows this.

I made it vague so that you guys can make rumors about it, and to add to it if you wanted to. This will be the next thing afte Morento.


Speaking of Morento, is it safe to time-skip after a few posts?

I had another thought. Shouldn't we make out profiles for the prince and Xavier, since Xavier is going to be the next major villain, and the prince is probably going to be a fairly important NPC?

True. But who will control them? I think Spirit should control Xavier, and I guess either Dark or someone. Or maybe the most active person should control the Prince or somethin. But thats a thought. I thought it was decided already.

Thats a problem, I don't think either of them should be NPC's because that could create personality problems in the two characters.
I'd take on the Prince but I don't want to break my own rules of a 3 character limit.

Just some city details for Morento and a few other bits.

Morento:
A large independant city, it resides on a circular mountain with a huge clock tower in the very center.
The city is often under attack by the group of nearby bandits, although, the large amount of walls closing in the city holds them off and the amount of archers oftens kills enough the send any remainders home.
The archers are lucky enough to have high powered crossbow's at their disposal, strong enough to completely render someones head destroyed.
The city's clocktower is also home to a powerful cannon, although several centuaries old, it is still combat ready, however it often fires decorative fireworks every new year.
Whilst the Prince resides in Morento, he has very little power and authority due to Morento's neutrality and zero involvement in wars.
Much of their profit is made from mining precious minerals and metals and their airship market.

His attire is rather scruffy for a prince, he wears a blue engineer suit with the right sleeverolled up just beneath the elbow, the other sleeve is untouched and said to hide several cuts and bruises. the suit is partially unzipped and reveals a white shirt underneath which is slightly dirtied from oil stains. His wrist is covered in bandages and his boots are heavy, the leather slightly damaged.

Background: The sone of King Baschuan and an airship enthusiast, Theodore left welstarm 4 years ago to work in Airship design.
He had an accident on an airship when he was a young child, the same accident which killed his mother, however, rather than causing him to completely detest airships, it gave him inspiration to improve them much more and to make them safer so no more accidents would be caused.
However, he was sent into a depression when one of his designs were proven flawed in a terrible accident that killed a crew and several passengers, to protect Theodore, The king took the blame and credit for the failed designs. Theodore was not completely free from punishment, he was beaten by his father and looked upon with disgust by those that knew the truth.
Theodore himself is actually not that great of an Airship engineer and his repuatation is rather poor, although he has much enthusiasm.
In truth, his position is only higher up due to his royal status which Theodore is partly aware of.
Personality: Often cheerful but speaks with a stutter, he is easy to talk to although matters involving his father are almost impossible to discuss with him, discussion involving his mother is easier to talk too but often puts him in a depressing mood. He is known however to say that he wants nothing to do with his father, the only reason he left Welstarm 4 years ago is because he was given permission to leave due to his age. He is known to be rather scared by military looking people and will be found hard to talk to because of this, often requesting a second person in the room not affliated with the person that wishes to speak with Theodore.

Character Relation: Marie Garther was a co-engineer that passed away from a deadly reaction to a testing substance that was imported for use in an airship.

Despite the fact he's a diagan, he carries many similarities to humans, the characteristics that give out his true origins are his lizard-like red eyes and sharp teeth and tongue. Also, hidden below the armour, his body is completely covered in scales from neck to below, his left arm has his pact mark, a dragon stretching down from his shoulder to the palm of his hand.
Job: None, wanderer.
Weapon: Two-handed longsword, also, his gauntlets were specially designed to also work as claws.
Background: Back to when he was small, dragons were on the brink of extinction, one of the few survivors, a fire dragon name Pyrodom, was hidden in the top of a volcano, Akriloth's parents alongside with a few of their friends, gathered up in that volcano to protect Pyrodom from hunters (I was planning on having dragon scales be very worthy items, he reason why they would have been hunted to extinction was to obtain their scales, teeth and their "fire-breathing" organ wich i dunno if it has a name, wich would be very precious for making armors, weapons and several other things.) A big group of well-armed bounty hunters rushed into the volcano, killed everyone that was trying to protect Pyrodom and then after a few losses, killed Pyrodom himself. Akriloth, however, survived, although he was small at the time, he managed to escape to a town near that volcano, the people there accepted him there and took care of him, that town however, was made up mostly of humans, Akriloth, being a Diagan, was looked down upon all of the others, except the couple who had adopted him. His adopted father was a mercenary, so he teached Akriloth how to fight and how to use armor since he was small, at the age of 16, Akriloth secretly performed a pact with the dragon that his real parents were trying to protect, Pyrodom, Pyrodom was lusting for revenge, and Akriloth wasn't exactly much of a friend of humanity at the time, Pyrodom convinced Akriloth to cleanse the world of human beings because they were "corrupt". Akriloth kept training swordsmanship with his adopted Dad, and trained magic in secrecy. When he turned 18, he easily dispatched of the small town's militia and then slaughtered the whole town. After looting what he found of value in the remains of the town, he proceeded to another nearby town, where he used his loot to buy himself the sword and armour he currently carries. He and Pyrodom are still plotting to "cleanse" the world, however, they both know that they're not strong enough for that just yet, so they came to Morento, in hopes of strenghtening Akriloth's magic with the help of the famous Xavier.
Personality: Hyper, distrustful, likes to be always moving, borderline insane, Pyrodom being the only one keeping him from losing it. He obeys everything that Pyrodom orders him to do, no matter his own personal thoughts. Despite not being exactly the brightest and colected person around, he finds it easy and enjoys to mess up with other people's heads.

Background: Le'Gato was born into a very rich family. He had 2 other older siblings that held all of his parents attention. To his dad Le'Gato was the "shame" of the family becuase of his physical appearance. He was smaller then the rest of the kids his age but he was very brilliant. This didn't bother Le'Gato and he was oblivious to his dad's lack of attention.
One day while wandering the streets he was kidnapped and held for ransom. He was released a month after his captured. During this month he was beaten badly and was treated as a slave to his captors. 3 weeks in, one of the nappers stabbed him in the left shoulder becuase he was tired of waiting for the ransom.
When Le'Gato returned him didn't blame the captors. He blamed his parents for not getting him out earlier. Over the years he could hear the gossip of how his dad was glad that he was kidnapped. He eventually planned out how to kill his parents. While the servants where out and away he stabbed them both. Le'Gato then went up to his siblings rooms and killed them while they slept becuase they were the favorite one.
While working in the Inn Le'Gato was being bossed around by a junior mage (magus clan). He was boasting around how one day he will be a senior mage and had people do what he said. Le'Gato was tired of his bragging and stabbed the mage through the heart with the kitchen knife. The guards arrested him and took him to the highest authority in the town ,Xavier. Xavier saw Le'Gato's abilities and hired him as a Bounty hunter.
Personality: Le'Gato has a god-complex. He has little morality and no conscience. The only person he shows any respect toward is Xavier. Le'Gato trust him and has a undieing loyalty. He acts silly and hyper to hide his true personality.

Sorry, I haven't checked this topic in a while. I wouldn't say he was Xavier's right hand man cause he's not a mage. He could be a bounter hunter Xavier hired. If you change his job, then its fine. It's up to Darkblade to verify though.

His is thin and looks much more like a talker than a real fighter. He wears no armour due to his status as Strategos, which is the highest rank in Silishalian Military. he wears purple robes lined with gold. The robes bare the Silishalian name and emblem.

Background: Born only several Months after Emperor Hydar, he attended the same school and learned pretty much the same things.
They became quick friends and were so until their 21st birthday, the same day Emperor Derga passed into the spirit world.
Emperor Hydar slowly grew to hate Addler and gave him military duties, deciding to put him to use while they still had some trust.
Addler was promoted to Stratego and sent to Morento to keep watch over it.
Personality: Educated and Cold, Addler is a prime example of a rich man who beleives he has that much more power than everyone else, rarely ever uses harsh language, he makes it known that he is better than everyone else.
Despite his cold personality, he is known to have a taste for expensive items, including Diagan Red Wine and decorative weaponry.

Personality: When not around Addler, he is a much more capable man, able to lead others.
He is often regarded as a pacifist, would rather cause enemys to become unable to fight rather than kill them.

After gwoing up many times he was tempted to go and find his father being that he had an agrument before he left. At the age of 15 he receved the starteling news that his father had been killed by bandets on one of his travels. Welstarm was turned completely into stone aside from a small amount of people who were possibly turned into monsters.
After a very lucky escape and a long and peril filled trek, the group make it to Morento where a powerful mage resides, several group members head to Xaviers home to attempt to kill him in revenge.

I guess your character could try to sell the group something?
I dont know, its really something you should think about.
