Am I the only one who is annoyed about having to get facesets for rpg maker vx? Well, if you are satisfied with the faceset generators, then you don't really have much to complain. But what I'm talking about is the faces that are already there. Couldn't enterbrain already include facesets with the game? Or make an upgrade pack that has facesets and more tiles? I just want to see what your guys thoughts are about this.

Im fine with the Facesets and making new ones.

You can still use old Faces and Face generators to be used in VX.

Yeah but I like how the faces in rpg maker vx are made. And I have already seen people make facesets for them so it's not impossible but I am not a good artist. In fact, I suck in anything that has to do with drawing. I would like to be able to have a collection of all the facesets so I wouldn't have to keep looking for the one I want.

-> 10 face sets * 8 = 80 faces.

-> Enterbrain is a money making corporation; they don't give a damn about your personal needs. The general purpose for VX's script system is to make your game from almost-scratch. If you're doing this, they expect you to make everything yourself. The supplied resources in VX by default are literally meant to be "DEMO" resources.

I suggest drawing them on paper, scanning them through the computer, then coloring with photoshop. They turn out really nicely, especially if you like the drawings you made. That's what I do, and I never even bother with the RTP facesets. I am an okay artist, but I actually have someone that illustrates everything that I work on.
masternest
That's nice. Haha wish I had my own artist. Oh well.
