I am completely new to this RPG Maker stuff, I just got RPG Maker VX and hoping to create a game as best as i could. Man I am pretty nervous on creating one...omg i hope i don't lose my mind. Anyway, hi to everyone on the forums XD

Once you figure out eventing, databasing, and how the randomizing stuff works, it's really fun and easy. You may want to learn scripting when the time comes, as well. But there's no way to tell unless you try. I personally suck at scripting... or coding of any kind.

Hey, welcome to RRR. RPG Maker isn't so hard if you just take it slow and learn one thing at a time. VX has a handy feature where you can right click almost anything and click "Help" to get some useful advice, and there are tutorials on some of the basics (like switches and variables) all over. Good luck in your endeavor; like MDK said, it's really fun and easy once you know what you're doing, so don't give up. =)
