I may check this out. I normally use ExtremeWorlds which is a 2D engine for MMORPGs, but if this is free, I may just check it out. Good thing I speak Indonesian, if it turns out it's not in English!

Yup i'm indonesian and RPG holic, i'm a networking specialist not programmer so thats why i prefer rpg maker vx to make my own game for the simplicity, hey the link that i gave at mediafire should work for everyone (have been tested), let me know if still problem and ill try to upload somewhere else...

I downloaded this and I'm quite impressed. I actually chose the Indonesian version over the English one as I want to improve my Indo. It actually works quite well as a program and I'm glad you told us about it.

Well, Actually Frank created another software called RPG Studio, too.
I bought the book with it's software DVD on the nearest book store (in Indonesia, of course)

He also built a forum discussing mainly on the development this software, and resources too.

This one had a slightly better interface in my opinion. Not to mention it's game speed, too.

The book's writer and the staffs working on it are Indonesian, so yeah.

But you know that you need to have a server to store all data of the game and be able to launch full scale...

anyway, the graphic looks cool but a little rigid, and it's reminiscent to candi borobudur and other indonesian's buddish empire..

Im really interested in this program and really invision myself giving this a good ol' checkin' out sometime in the future. But there are still some questions i have so i will probibly go check the website out more assuming it's in english cuz i only speak english and svenska (swedish).
