in about and script pages of the site,is it just me or did you put that there?

OFF-TOPIC: Have you re-installed spore on your computer?because I did and now when I try to make or log into any account it says the acivation code can't be validated...

Yeah, all but the 'home'-text is just filler.

Also, about spore: Have you installed it more than 5 (I believe that's the current limit) times? They set a limit to the amount of times you can install it. Now, they might keep something on your computer to count it as 1 install no matter if you de-install it or not.. but a reformat (and some say even replacing a motherboard, hard-drive or videocard) can break this.. so the next time you install/play, it adds 1 to the counter.
"[..] can't be validated"... oh.. hm.. are you connected to the internet when you try installing it? Because that's one of the times that it checks your install-amount..
You can contact the publisher through the internet somewhere, to help you further, and extend your install-limit.

There's been a whole boycot of spore and other games because they use Securom, and their install-limit...

Second (the reason for posting): .. I thought that the download directory was just "C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Spore Creations" wich should be easily cleanable.. I could be horribly wrong though.. .. My guess is the internet has all the answers

I might look it up later if you don't, but I really have to go to bed now, because I have to get up early tomorrow..

I did do a lot of searching around in my folders,and I did find that folder,but since they were all images and the ones that weren't didn't have SporePedia in there names I decided not to mess about...it had all the images I created,including the generations etc but nothing from other users so...but I think were going a bit(a lot) off topic so lets stop now...

I tried to learn JS one time,failed miserably ,I know it was a fast reply,I'm like a blood sucking lich,when I get started I don't let go,but instead of blood its forums,which basically means I now hang around this forum 24/7(not really) its 23:10,school tomorrow,homework not done yet..hmmm...wonder if I even have homework..

For the topic.
I'll do JavaScript as well and I'm thinking of seperate parts on the site for rather HTML/CSS/JS and RGSS2 (and AS2.0)

I fail at all these scripts..I'm quite good at editing CSS for forum skins,I know very very very very very basic HTML(<b>,<i>,<h10>,<br>,<u>,and probably some other stuff I forgot..) I got a JS for dummies book which helped a bit,but I just couldn't learn from it,I tried AS2 but I couldn't really get to grips with it then my trial expired,and that's where I end up at RPG maker XP,made a nice game(while I was using XP,I didn't know there was scripts I could use O.o) then I stopped for a while,and now I started again but with VX along with the knowledge of adding scripts and self switches(seriously,I had no idea what they were for,I only figured out after reading the help file in VX)

Anyway: I think for JS/HTML/CSS that you should start with the basics.. so my list would be:

1. RGSS2
2. HTML
3. CSS (builds on HTML)
4. JS (builds on finished [HTML+CSS] website)
5. AS2 (thoug this could be above HTML.. I don't know..)

I think that's actualy a pretty neat order of you AmIMeYet.

Surtainly I'll start off with some RGSS2 for sure.
I'll do the basics, then some advances stuff.
After that I'll start explaining the basics of HTML with accordingly CSS (since the looks would suck without it).
Then perhaps I'll do some JavaScript, though I have to do some more with that before I'm sure that I tell the most easy way hehe, anyway, that will be after the full HTML/CSS part.

For ActionScript2.0 ... That's going to be at the very last since I really got out of it, didn't do much for a long time

Anyway, I'll change the list on the site

Though it's that I'm really bussy with a lots of things right now.
So perhaps I'll have to stop some things (my regular scripting sceme such as HUD's and all).
Anyway, thursday is my day off from school, so perhaps I'll start to do podcasts then.
Anyway, it'll take perhaps 3 weeks or so before I actualy dare to do it hehe

It's been a month since last post so... I hope there has been an update

You know, I actualy dreamt today that I was teaching some young school childeren how to use RPG maker VX (though it didn't went that good since I couldn't see a lot, it was fuzzy and all ).
Anyway, besides that haha, yes there is a small update. I've been working on a new way of posting my news on the site. So that'll increase the workflow of it
For the recording of the tutorials, I realy realy how to make one after I've posted the newest faction script.
Perhaps I'll do a quicke review over the script, though that'll be way too advanced so I'll perhaps just start with a tutorial wich will cover the basics.
I hope to do that at...let's say, perhaps 2morrow...not sure though but I'll try for you (and myself offcourse).

Thanks for reminding me, it realy does a lot to me to know that people still believe in me

I'm still working on a better version of the site and the video player.
I'll be working on the videoplayer today.
I've also decided that I'll use the site for other things as scripts and all (uploaded Factions yesterday on the server).
So I'll also be doing that.

About the tutorials, I hope to make one next day if the video player is ready.
I feel that the time is good for making one now

All I've decided actualy is that I'm going to post them on the site and I'll link from the topic to there.
Also, what I ment with that I'd uploaded Factions to the scriptology-server, is that I placed the demo up there (as well as the pictures) so that I could update them with ease without having to changes the topic
Though I haven't done that with the scripts yet since I want to make some more advanced update-code so that the topics here with my script update their versionnumber as well

I can't script or do anything realy now.
I'm just in a mood that nothing is fun to do anymore and that I don't mind if I get hit by a car or a train.
My life just doesn't contain fun anymore at the moment.

So I'm sorry foks, but it's not going so well right now.
I do little scripting every day, but that's just 15 min. max and then I don't like it anymore.
I'm just haning around my pc but don't do that much.
I don't even care anymore to read my mail or post the forum as I use to do.
Before I just had to check the forum every day, but now...I don't mind anymore.

So that's my story for now.
Hope to get emotional better soon.

Just checked out the video on veoh and I have to say, it looks great. I can see what's on your monitor very clearly so it's easy to follow along. Also, you pretty much explained every detail of the script. There shouldn't be any people confused after watching the video. Some may think that 20 minutes is too long but I personally like getting all the help I can get with things so I consider it a plus. Veoh is a good place to host videos because they don't restrict the length like on youtube. Your voice and the sound was clear and in sync with the video too. Basically, if this is what we're going to expect for the podcasts then I'm really looking forward to it. Looking good, man!

I'm not sure if you understand what I'm trying to achief with my podcast I'm going to make.
It's not about making maps or events...It's about using the scripting-engine RGSS2 from rpg maker vx.
You can make a catipilar script if you know the codes, you'll be able to learn those codes with those tutorials.
Though you can also just look the forum and find your script (there are a couple of them around).

I must say that it's nice to have you on the forum (welcome), but you realy should do something about your english cause it's not very understandable.
I'm not sure where your from, but perhaps you can find a forum in your own language if that's easer for you (not to shuss you).
Anyway, I've seen your other post (since you've only 2 now), and that was a request for exactly the same thing...so your post isn't realy on topic at all or something.
Now I know you ment movie instead of Move cause I read it in the other topic you've written at.
Now as the person there allready says, get berka's video player or what so ever.

So anyway, no begging. It won't help...well not with me.
I only help people I think it's interesting for me as well.
Also I have to understand it and think it's a challanges (such as my HUD's, it's not realy that diffecult anymore so I'm not working that much on them).

Well anyway, I also don't help people who just come on the forum and ask around screaming for help and such.
If you had read a little of the current topic posts you'll notice that it's not about screaming for help and all.
I bet ya didn't even read the very first post wich is (according to me) always the most importend one.

Those where some free tips...or call it HELP if you want.

Go search the forum and read some ruels that are here as well so that you are able to get accepted on the forum.
Cause if you keep on rushing like this in several topics with don't go about the things you're spamming about, you won't get a good reputation and people won't want to help you.
