All right, since we have our Fav. Animes in Mind, there are Others that was hated by many, as far, I call it "Anime's Hall of Shame" aka what’s your most hated Anime?

For Me I Have this Top 5

5. xxxHolic
The Reasons: I Don't liked how is, About the Yokais, I like More how Touhou is

4.Pokemon (From Advanced Generation to Diamond and Pearl)
The Reasons: Too Annoying, everybody lost, EVERYTHING the same, I Prefer Watching How the Persocoms are build!

3. Naruto
The Reasons: Not much, the name speaks for itself.

2.Angelic Layer (Only the Anime, the Soundtrack is Good)
The Reasons: How I wished BADLY A battle Between Hikaru and Suzuka for 2nd time, but thanks to Sai and Her F***ing Angel Shirahime, That anime was fast to My Hall of Shame (Fuck You Shirahime!!! May Tails Doll BURN YOUR SOUL!) verymad.gif
((Here's why I hated this Anime, also in that Episode I find Dita's theme for Bu n' Ku saga))

1. Tsubasa Chronicles
The Reasons: OMG! Since when CLAMP makes a crappy fu**in Copy of my all-time favorite Game: Kingdom Hearts? This was one of the first Animes that was my proof of why I'm beginning Hating CLAMP, Best Make a Sequel of Chobits for God's Sake! (How I hate the FaixChii Couple, it don't Fit!!!!!!!!!)

If you wants you can add Pictures, but please, under Spoilers. Of course, Respect Everyone's opinions and Don't flame, na?

Enjoy... or not so much...?
GappieMikan
Also You can add videos of where of why you hate the anime you choose
Ratty524
Hmm...

> Naruto: I just can't understand why it's popular. Whenever I give this a chance, all I see are a bunch of typical, anime cliches supplemented with some "OMG KICKAZZ NINJA ACT-SHUN" to pretty much add some whipped cream on a pile of crap.

> Pokemon: While I haven't seen the Japanese episodes yet, and I hope I do, the series has been going on for way too long, and has become completely redundant.

> Hamtaro: One of the most obnoxious, most pointless shows I've ever seen. Enough said.
darksojahxgurl
Dragon Ball - The fights were extremely dragged out. A good example would be the Cell fight. Also, there were plenty of nonsense and filler episodes.

Despite my negative views of Dragon Ball, I would say I am more toward a love and hate relationship with it.The show is still a classic regardless of its boring, long, and stretched-out episodes.

Although DB can make me cringe, I would say Sailor Moon tops it in the epitome of shame. The clutzy main character, girl group, and Mr.Tuxedo can scar anyone away from anime or cartoons.
PK8
- Naruto
- Pokemon (I just hate it now because I got seriously lost with all of those new generations and new pokemons.)
- Hamtaro
- Totally Spies
- Wild Arms TV
- Inuyasha (Somewhat! I just can't stand the fillers and that was the reason why I stopped watching the show.)
- Ghost In The Shell (Seems/looks too boring for my taste.)
- Lucky Star (I'm just being an asshole. All I've seen from Lucky Star so far was that annoying intro. I've yet to see anything else from it so I really can't make a valid point against it. tongue.gif)
- Nearly any anime which involves robots.
C7Edition
-Naruto the main character is messed and that guy in the green jumpsuit defies the rule of anime on having proper eyes

-Pokemon nothing wrong with the show but they had pretty weird feet at the begging even the game.

-Dragon Ball it has an even more repetitive story then Pokemon collecting a bunch of orbs each season to get a wish from a dragon.

-Totally spies I love the attempt to get preps to watch anime, but my IQ dropped when I watched that show.

-Cybersix this anime about this school teacher who turns into this super hero babe accompanied by some panther and they fight crime like some little kid who makes weird monsters from nothing.

-Sailor Moon a bunch of school girls named after planets, and the weirdest humor (if it exists)
Sai_Kanzen
Naruto - There's enough reasons out there already. Mainly due to the story being repetitive and overly cliche.

Umm, not much else. Anyway, Totally Spies is not an anime! It is an insult to all anime to say otherwise!!!
Alexa_miyagi
i think tottaly spies is an anime. just not the normal manga etc. kind.

-Sailor Moon-i just hate it (2 hate votes)
-Dragon Ball-boring (3 hate votes)
-Pokemon-i got lost in the story (5 hate votes)
-Naruto-just hate it (6 hate votes)
-Inuyasha-i hate it and boring (2 hate votes)
Sai_Kanzen
Anime refers to animation from Japan. Totally Spies is made in a typical anime design but since it isn't made in Japan, it cannot qualify as an anime. It only looks like anime.

Gundam Seed/Destiny - I hate it because it is basically the story of the original Mobile Suit Gundam and Z Gundam and ZZ Gundam retold with different characters and different terms. (Ex. Newtypes = Coordinators; RX-78-02 Gundam= Strike Gundam; S Gundam = Impulse Gundam; Djinn = Zaku 2; Amuro Ray = Kira Yamato)

Mahamoti
I don't really hate, it takes a lot for me to hate something. There's only two shows I hate with the passion of a million burning suns...

Naruto - Enough said.

Gundam Seed Destiny - Seed was alright. I don't mind it being a remake of the original Mobile Suit Gundam, it was meant to introduce the original to a new generation of fans. But Destiny I have issues with. It had an interesting main character in Shinn Asuka, but it frequently takes the focus off of him and back on Kira Yamato until Kira became the main character again about halfway through. Guess that's what happens when the head writer is a Kira fangirl and happens to be the director's wife. She can just change the show's storyline from being interesting and coherent to the total train wreck it turned out to be just for the sake of making Kira look good. And don't get me started on the recap episodes. mad.gif

That's true, with Avatar happens the same thing (And It is an insult to all anime to say otherwise, I agree with us)

With the Mecha Anime is also kinda boring, No offence trough (WARNING: Chobits is Not a Mecha Anime, is Ecchi, comed-romance and Si-fi)

BTW, Punk, from Ghost In The Shell it was made the Matrix saga.

Ah! also I hate Negima, is like a copy of Another of my fav Movie series: Harry Potter
Batistaberg
Woah! My most hated anime is indeed this one:

Video:

It is just called the ''Kickers''. I mean it is such a cheap copy of ''Captain Tsubasa''/''Super Kickers''. Look at the goalkeeper. It looks exactly like Wakabayashi. Or the main-guy. He looks a lot like Tsubasa himself. I tell you: I hate this series.

Have you ever heard about Code Geass before?
Shu
Let me list off some anime, not mentioned yet:

Gantz - I love the manga, but hate the anime. Literally, half of the series consists of main characters with weapons sitting there and WATCHING people die. :[

Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou(sp?) a.k.a. His and Her Circumstances - I just didn't see the point to it. I've heard the manga is a huge improvement, though!
cheahjc
I don't watch much animes, BUT Pokemon is doing terrible.

Pokemon - The first season was awesome when it first aired like in 1996 i think, but season 2 was okay, then season 3 not the best, than it went downhill from there. Too many Pokemon, sure some of the add ons were good but There are just took many! Now the new season Pokemon DP: Battle Dimension is worst than ever, Team Rocket changed their theme song, the new Pokemon theme song just sucks. The old one was the best. I want to be the best, like no one ever was... Ash should be like 20 now, he's still 11! The "new" Misty, Dawn is just terrible. The games are still good though.

so that was my rant for the new Pokemons.
quehegan
Their is only one only one anime I could never get through and that was Vampire Princess Miyo. The dub was bad, the story was bad, and the japanese voice acting was bad. If you have watched it, I am sorry.
SantaBla
Wooooo, Naruto haters are common, although the Naruto manga is not bad at all and is quite interesting, I can't say the same thing for the commercial anime. The clichés are probably hated by loads but I have noticed that clichés are still popular among anime fans, at least, that's what made old school anime shows popular, the surpassing of self packed together with tons of other moral lessons, Naruto goes back a lot to its shonen roots.

I don't think I hate a lot of animes and there's only one of them that annoys me like hell. The name is Elfen Lied. I don't know why people love this so much, I don't understand why people find this horrible attempt at blending genres enjoyable. Cowboy Bebop did a better job at mixing stuffs together, but this, it's as if the anime studio or manga artist just wanted to throw as much as violence and nudity possible in one episode. It's fan service after fan service. If you enjoy that, good for you, but I'll pass.

Oh, god! it hurts to watch.

Inuyahsa
Obnoxiously long and repetitive.
onimusuko
WHY YOU HATE NARUTO SO MUCH!!??
well, I HATE NARUTO AS WELL SO CHEERS!! xDD

well that's numb 1

#2 Gundam, all series, you name it. i hate robots >.>
#3 Hamtaro, idiot. well teletubby and hamtaro
#4 Pretty Cure. Ughhhh >.> *fart, puke*
#5 every anime. i mean every subbed anime that were aired in Indonesia. well every subbed anime are gross after all
mumerus
Wow, every bad anime listed here, from Pretty Cure to Naruto and DBZ. I agree with everything being listed there except Gantz, I like bloody action while some perverted teen gets scared. Pokemon was good for the first season, but each season, it became tiresome and redundant. But some of the games are okay, cant complain.
Hechara!
Magical DoReMi:
Reasoning: Yes, I'll admit it was cute, adorable even. But a complete knockoff of Sailor Moon. Normally these "Magical Girl" animes don't get on my nerves so much (I actually like a few), but this one did.

Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds
Reasoning: It's just an excuse for them to print new sets of the TCG. This has nothing to do with the orignal plot, characters, or anything. Even the game they play is completely different. If the show had nothing to do with Kazuki Takahashi's original creation, it might have been at least tolerable.

Bakugan
Reasoning: It's Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh thrown into a blender. Though the original two series had their own splendor, all I can say about this is "No, no, no, no, no, and no."
Poko4Sho
You guys are talking about Dragon Ball Z! Not entirely different, but deffinatly not the same.
I can't believe people actually hated Sailor Moon, too!

Let's see...I hated the new ghost in a shell, it was boring.
There's some stupid ass anime with dinosaurs on really early in the morning I coincidentally saw, I don't remember what it is, it might be bakugan, or it might be the fact that I hate that one too.
Card Captors was pretty lame now that I think about it and yu-yu-hakusho or whatever.

Never seen the Naruto's or the avatar's, decided to stay away from those.
pacomcdohl
I am gonna throw in some odd balls here I suppose,

strawberry panic- I useally never drop an anime but this is... well... a rare case, just don't... watch it okey?
Mononoke- This one was also a dropped anime, if you look at hhow it looks... you will understand'
"Some thing I don't care to remeber the name of"- It was horrible, an anime trying to look american! YUCK
Dragon ball- never watched it, but its the sourche of the infamous dragon ball syndrom so I will keep my distance.
Preatty much any dubbed anime- Beacuse they suck
Poko4Sho
Wasn't Mononoke a movie? Princess Mononoke right? I saw that, I thought it was pretty cool. Might have been started as an anime and dropped, I dunno.

How about FF7: Advent children? That's anime enough for me and people think FF7 has 9 lives well, it died a long time ago.
That movie sucked, Sephiroth is gonna come back one of these days thanks to square and kill everybody.

So did the Final Fantasy movie, I mean, I'm talkin about movies but they're anime movies. I don't know how the Final Fantasy movie was made and I know it wasn't "anime" made but whatever, it was awful.
SantaBla
Anime usually refers to animation made in Japan. Princess Mononoke is anime. Mononoke didn't start as a series but as a movie.

As for the FF7 movie, it's still animation although its CGI and since it was made in Japan, it's automatically an anime too.
Poko4Sho
Right, I knew it was Japanese animation. So they must have started a series after the movie or a spin-off of it.
Ah, CGI, that's the word I was looking for, was the normal Final Fantasy movie made in japan? I don't remember.
As for american anime (or any other country, I've seen some brazillian anime) would you really not call them anime?
I think "anime" has adapted to everything in the sort of the genre now but If so, what would we call them?
SantaBla
No. Mononoke is a single movie. It's Miyazaki who made it... He's considered a God in Japan for his anime movies... not because of the animation itself but more because of the themes presented in them.

What do you mean by Brazilian anime? I never heard of those.

If you think Avatar, it's a heavily Japanese influenced american cartoon.
If you think Wakfu, it's a heavily japanese influenced french cartoon.

There aren't any specific terms to refer to them... But I like to call them Anime Wannabes.

So technically, animation made outside of Japan isn't anime.

The FF7 movie was made in Japan. That's why it's anime.

Besides, anime is just a term used by westerners to refer to japanese animation.

In Japan, anime is just japanese cartoon.

However in the outside world, many of us think that anime is a specific art style like this.

[Show/Hide] Anime Girl

But really anime could mean anything like this.
[Show/Hide] Kinnikuman

Poko4Sho
Alright, I gotcha, kinda what I figured but I understand it now.
I meant the Final Fantasy movie, not the FF7 movie. I don't know where that Final Fantasy movie was made since it looks really americanized, it was the one that came out in theatres.
Actually, you know, the brazillian anime was probably just a translation but anime is really popular there, so I'm sure they have their own versions just like america does.
I also noticed a lot of people think of it as an art style, but I think there are too many "art styles" of anime to say that about it.

As for bad animes, I saw something the other day on my anime network on-demand called "Wedding Peach" Lol, that one sucked. Plus I don't really like the type of art style they used.
SantaBla
Which final fantasy movie you're talking about? Spirits within? That too was made in Japan.

Concerning the brazilians, that's right, they are probably dubbed animes. Captain Tsubasa's very popular there (or used to be).
English speaking countries are always the last to broadcast anime.
About Wedding Peach, wtf is that? It looks a lot like Sailor Moon. No wonder you won't like that especially if you're a guy, lol.
pacomcdohl
I do not mean the movie princess mononoke, I mean a serie thats named mononoke.

Heres a few images, follow the link on your own risk

http://animediet.net/anime-reviews/2007-q3...medicine-seller

And that IS NOT princess Mononoke, princess mononoke was the anime that got my hooked forever. It kicks ass
Poko4Sho
Yepp, spirits within. That movie suckkkkked. When I was looking, I saw a lot of Captain Tsubasa and St. Saiyou(or somethin like that) on the brazillian sites.
Lol I know, but I liked Sailor Moon...I don't know, I suppose it's not really something I should be judging.

I thought the ending of Outlaw star sucked, like it was forced. But I liked the series.
Or maybe that was cowboy bebob? It's been years and I always got those two confused.

@paco - So, different thing altogether then, huh? I didn't know, that does look lame.

EDIT: I just made my post look nicer.

Saint Seiya, another classic I adore.
The spirits within movie was Square's first? attempt at making a cgi movie I think. I thought it was alright, nothing special, but at that time what I really wanted instead was a final fantasy movie based on FF7 which came true... And I'm glad.

I haven't watched outlaw stars yet but I have the entire collection already. I need to find some time to watch it.
I don't think it's Cowboy Bebop, because I kinda liked the ending of it...
Boneworks
It's sad, I actually like Totally Spies, Pokemon, Dragon Ball, Inuyasha, and Sailor Moon...

Anyway, I can't stand Ninja Nonsense. I watched it thinking it was going to be cool and stuff, but I swear I lost a few brain cells while watching it. Like almost everyone else, I hate Naruto. At first I was like, 'This is the coolest.' but it's stupid and a waste of time. Other than those two, there aren't many anime I can name off the top of my head that I hate.

What's so bad about Naruto? There are so many people out there who are just jumping on the bandwagon because its popular and there are narutards out there that makes the fanbase look really bad. Naruto is not a masterpiece, but it's far from being garbage. The anime community needs to lighten up. sleep.gif or just read the manga, which I don't think is bad at all. smile.gif

I also seriously think Naruto has a much better plot than Dragon Ball but that's understandable considering the time gap.

However, you shouldn't feel any guilt for liking shows that others hate. A lot of anime fans love to bash mainstream animes, and you shouldn't listen to them. wink.gif

At first I liked Naruto but I just lost interest in it. I only watched the TV show and read just a little bit of the manga. As much of Naruto I watched I didn't find the plot interesting, that's why I thought it was a waste of time. Don't get me wrong, I like the characters and such but I just don't like the series at all. I think Dragon Ball is better, but that's just what I think.
SantaBla
That's what I'm saying... I too lost interest in Naruto like 1 and a half year back, but was a big fan of it in 2003. Strangely, I don't recall anyone bashing it. It's only when it started getting broadcasted in America that it got sent to hell. I don't say I hate Naruto, but I don't love it either. I however understand why people still like it. If you managed to get addicted for a little while, I don't think it's that bad of a show. The reason I stopped watching it is because of the fillers and the animation was going downhill, as if they lacked budget or didn't put any effort in the episodes especially with the naruto vs sasuke fight, which should have been epic like in the manga, but instead turned out to be a complete farce.

If you're talking about the original Dragon Ball, I think it was good, but Dragon Ball Z's plot only good up till the Freeza Saga which was supposed to be the real ending. The rest didn't make much sense to me.
GappieMikan
Well, I think that everybody hates Naruto becuse of:

*The BAD Dubs (Even in Latin america the dub was horrible)
*Cliches, everyobdy hates Cliches
*Narutards, like the one in the sandbox

Maybe the Anime of Naruto is bad, but is true that reading the manga is far better than watching the anime, is like reading a book and then its movie
Examples:
Chobits Manga is better than its anime
Harry Potter Books are far better than its movies
pacomcdohl
There are a few things that ruined Naruto for me, yes I was a fan of it once.
Uuuh. for thos who actually watch it and don't want any spoilers don't read this dry.gif

1: Fillers, they kept on coming... like 2,3 years now is full of fillers!

2: Sasuke! That got damn brat! "boho! I need to get stronger there for I follow the guy who wanted to destroy konoha, so he can rape my body but I don't care!" Saskue was at the start the cool guy, but turned out to be a fricking retard.
I can make naruto a better serie in a few words: Instand of going with orochimaru he along the others try and find a cure to the cursed seal, since it ate him alive or whatever, There much better. Instand of ruining sasuke who he had built up for 100 episodes or so.

well enough of sasuke... well no... number three involves him too.

3: Dragon ball syndrome! they just keep getting stronger and stronger and stronger. Theres no end! and yeah, saskue is the worst of em all in that case. Naruto gets to learn one skill thats powerful, but he can't use it since it hurts him self. Saskue? Well... He got 100 or so, that are better then narutos skill and he can just whip them out when he feels like it. They should rename it Saskue shinpuuden or something now. Since he appears to be at a godly level.
EpicMonkeySwordGodSoda
Naruto- Loved the Comic and all but the American Dubed ruined it and the horible sensoring since they cant say drunken fist on tv. And the loong fillers.

DBZ - Lol i loved that show back in the day too , fights are too long as said before but they had great amimation for the most part unlike most animes today that are all pc done.

Death Note - Had an amazing story but took a horible turn in the second part but lucky pulled up on the last 2 episodes.

Sailor moon - JUst ewww

Bleach - Just wrong horible art style, the names of the characters are just way too big and dumb. Also kinda anoying to watch but hey if naruto wasnt ever made then bleach wouldnt have been made either. since the main thing for it was branched from narutos character design.

It's unfair to hate a show because of the fans. Also, not everyone hates clichés. One of the reason why Naruto is popular is because of the clichés. It goes back to its shonen roots.

I'm just saying it's a shonen syndrome because Dragon Ball's not the only manga where characters get stronger. It's very common in shonen, way too common. If people can't stand that, they shouldn't watch shonens about fighting. Bleach, Naruto, Saint Seiya, Flame of Recca, Captain Tsubasa and the list goes on. I personally don't think it should be removed, because to me, it's the heart of all shonens... where the main character grows up and become stronger, to defeat even stronger enemies.
RaptorMoonX
I don't normally hate anime, but I know there's at least 1.

Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo - any anime that has the main character look like he's from the 70s and use his nose hair to fight is seriously on crack or something.

Cyber 009 - This anime was okay, but the character decision was way to exaggerated. And how many babies do you know with telekenetic powers?

Fighting Foodons - This took food fighting to a new level......and it wasn't very high either.

Those are the only ones I can think of atm. Like I said, I'm not too picky when it comes to anime. I let the first episode decide whether I like a series or not.

Hahaha!

I heard some weird stuff about that show, but now that you mention it, it sounds even funnier. I think I'll give it a go.

EDIT: Too bad, after reading a review, apparently, you'll find it funny only if you understand japanese language and culture. Here's the review I got from animenfo.com
QUOTE
Heh, Bobobo is one of these shows that should have never left Japan. It concentrates on pure Japanese humor so strongly, that for nearly every single person from overseas it becomes simply incomprehensible. So it's no wonder that Bobobo is trashed everywhere in english speaking society while being immensely popular and loved in Japan itself. Frankly, if you are determined to watch Bobobo there are at least three points you have to pass, otherwise you will probably hate the show. 1. Be able to speak Japanese language. 2. Know a great lot about japanese culture and err.. daily life traditions -_-;;, I'm not even sure if this is possible if you haven't lived in Japan. 3. Have watched at least more than hundred different anime shows.
RATED-RKOFRANKLIN
I have to say Dragon Ball was a bad show. Dragon ball GT was a bad show. Dragon Ball Z was good for the Saiyan, Frieza, Ginyu, King Cold sagas. The Cooler movies were good. Those few sagas made the series look good overall. GT seems so boring with meaningless fights and boring new villians. DB seem so childesh, Buma seem to be in the show for X-rated purposes.
SantaBla
Weird. Most people find the original Dragonball much more entertaining than the rest. However, we all agree that Dragonball GT was bad, but it wasn't made by Toriyama himself.
RATED-RKOFRANKLIN
King Cold, Cooler, Ginyu Force, Cooler's forces, Frieza, Frieza's men were the best villains on the show. They had a purpose of ruleing the unerivse. Plus they had good character back grounds and goals. Plus it is rare to have all of these men as friends and allies. Most of the villians worked alone. They hated saiyans but it wasn't all about the saiyans it was just ruleing over all. The other villains were just the same about destorying everything and everyone. So if they completed this mission what is there to do in life with nothing around??? STUPID
SantaBla
Toriyama planned to end it after the Frieza Saga but his wife and agent convinced him to continue it. He should have stopped right there with Goku being the legendary super saiyan. After that we all know every other saiyan can become a super saiyan... Lame.

Frieza is indeed the best villain I saw in the entire DBZ.

My favourite DBZ episode has to be the one with Goku's father simply because it was a sad story, and the fight he had with Frieza's men were ingenious. Knowing that his power level is lower than them, he used a lot of smart moves to win the battle against the 4 of them. (like using the power of the strongest in the group on the rest) It was short but it's probably one of the most interesting fight I ever saw in Dragonball.

Naruto- I just can't really stand that anime even when it start it's 1st episode in Malaysia....
Dragonball- ... Is kinda too stupid for me ( Same as Naruto, I don't even watch after I had watch it's 1st episode...)
Crescent Love - Don't be fool by it's cover, it is a DAMN BORING anime...
Maburaho _ The characters are TOO stupid and boring at the same time....
Tsubasa Chronicles: To tell the truth, I prefer the manga more than anime because manga story is more logical than anime...
xxxHolic - Same as Tsubasa Chronicles

Frieza, Cooler, King Cold, Jeice, Burter, Recoome, Goldo, Ginuy and Cooler's men were just cool. They kill people, take over worlds, they will do anything to win and the Ginyu force had style. I see so many groups of villians in cartoons now that have poses and themes like the ginyu force.
