If you didn't know, Netplay Plus is the most famous MMO script package for RMXP.

Im really not getting this script. I st it up to my ip and when i test it it only shows me online when i use port 80. No other port works and once i do test it, it doesnt respond so it causes to close. Whats going on? this is the rmxp version...

This site has been shown a million time on every forum I've been on. I've downloaded it like three times, from three different places, and guess what... IT NEVER WORKS! But I think it's got to do with the Server. Somewhere out there there was/is a tut on how to run a server. Not sure where though, but I know it was on rpgrevolution, rmxp/rmvx, or rmrk, or chaos project...

And that website was less than two months ago...

I got it working about a year ago..... managed to connected
2 seperate computers on a network........

worked fine though

Guild Chat
Names above head
Control the character with mouse
the only thing I couldnt get to work was the save option
it used to crash everytime I saved......

apart from that everything worked fine.......

the annoying thing is if u want other ppl to play you have to give them your ip address
and make sure your pc is always on........

I managed to get hold of a french version .... I conveted it all into english
and then transfered my Game over....

Netplays server is down so you basicly have to turn ypur pc into one....

can you make the online rpg faster?

I downloaded 2.1.6 but I have no clue what its telling me, its in some other language plus the demo wont even work.

I recently downloaded ver. 2.1.7 and it works fine, except for one thing... My characters HP never gets above 1/1... Which is quite anoying...Since if they hit you once you're dead... I can't find where the problem is, but maybe someone who knows a bit more about RGSS could help...

I believe the version in question is of net rmxp online not netpaly. They are nearly the same thing but nrmxp is a modification. And also netpaly 2.0 is scratched though i see a new version is being developed with a c++ server.

well if you make it a mmorpg I guess the server runs on your pc sooo.... if you got a shitty computer won't your computer lag as hell if you got it on??

not to mention you would have to figure out how to securely connect with other pc's without the hazards of virus's or hack attacks,considering they will be linked up to your ip directly you would have to use some sort of firewall,correct me if im mistaken but you must actually stop your firewall and open your connection freely to use this,that just welcomes hackers.
