I need to know which of the Naruto games for the GameCube have the best playing experience. I'm going to give my GameCube to my girlfriend as a present for her birthday, but I don't have any games for it. The reason I say Naruto games is cause she is in LOVE with that anime. So...yeah. Tellz me pl0x?

There is no best Naruto game for the gamecube, so just pick one. They all have the save fun factor for fans of the anime. If you must know I'm fairly certain it's Naruto: Clash of the Ninja.

Hm...Well, I'll take your word for it, though I'd like to hear the opinions of some of the other members here.

Naruto:Clash of the Ninja, and Naruto: Clash of the Ninja 2 are the only ones for the gamecube unless you want a japanese version of one of these games. Both of them are good and the 2nd one is better in gameplay and story because it adds on to the first one. (I should have went to gamefaqs before posting the previous one.) I completely forgot they released the 2nd one. laugh.gif Choose the 2nd one.

Hmm, I'm not sure. But I did play that one for XB360 and it was a really fun fighting game, and I don't generally like fighting games. I forget what it's called, but if there's one similar to that for GC get that one.

I would recommend getting Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3 or 4. it's the japanese version of Clash of Ninja. I have Naruto: GNT4, Clash of Ninja 1, and played GNT3 at my cousins(it was how I learned of the series, actually). I can safely say that, unless you care about the story, the japanese games are better.

REASONING: It's a fighting game. It follows the story of the anime pretty closely and, like most fighting games, doesn't go too deep.

PROS:
*If you've seen the anime, you don't really need to understand japanese to understand what's going on.
*The language barrier in no way inhibits the gameplay(though there are a few parts you can't pass without knowing what's going on. Explained below)
*Many more characters then the english series, as Japan is farther into the series then we are currently.

CONS:
*To proceed through the story mode, you sometimes need to win a battle using a specific move(a special move). Due to the language, this can be hard to figure out. Fortunately, there are tons of guides on Gamefaqs that tell you exactly what to do, and give you translations.

*You have to import the game and use an action replay to play it(another $10-$20). Depending on which one you get, that could be between $35-$60.

To add more, the japanese games have more features:

1) Gameplay modes. The japanese games have various modes of gameplay, such as 4 player free for all, tag team, three-man team, etc. While the english games generally only have standard 1 vs 1 or 4 player free for all, depending on which you get.

2) "Handicaps": in Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3, you could add various modifiers before battle. These could be bonuses to your heath, defense, or chkra(ranging from 50% to 200%). You could also have unlimited chakra. It went on a point based system, where each modifier cost a certain amount of points. You only had three points(if I remember)

If you decide to import it, your best bet would be to order it from Playasia.com. You can also save money and get a gamecube Freeloader($10) instead of an Action Replay($20-30, depending on the

I would recommend getting either Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4 and a Freeloader or Naruto: Clash of Ninja 2. Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen/Clash of Ninja EX is also a good one, though it's for the Wii.
Grimm Legacy
I'd prefer to get a game already out in the USA and translated, but I'll look into it Rast.

There's an abundance of Naruto games on the PS2 like Ultimate Ninja Storm 2. I think the PS2s the main console for anime related games.
