[RMVX] Making an Interesting Battle
Battles can start getting boring after multi boring battles without any storyline. So its time to get some excitement into your game.
To do this, my way, the easiest way, is to customize certain battles, and making some monsters have some "Special" qualities. You can do this through the Database > Troops > Battle Events
Adding the Battle Events may not seem to affect the game much right now, but when a player is playing the game, its a big deal.
On Page 3 of the event page, you'll find this box.
Each Page should be used for one set of events, you can adjust when it happens, through the Trigger Page. Click the "Don't Perform" scroll box and it should pop up.
Lets say, this monster is a Morpher/Shape-shifter,
You can have something like this,
This is pretty simple, what it does is..
When the monster's life is below 20%, regardless of whether it's supposed to die,
A Message will say "[Monster] has transformed!
The screen will flash white, and the monster's GFX will change.
The monster is back at full life, and when it does this time, it dies for real.
So its up to you, go be original do something nice to your game, it may not be the biggest system! Infact, its just basic events, but it makes the game a lot more fun.Good Luck!
