As promised, here's the thread for the comic and...Well...The comic! Before I give you the goodies though, let me just explain how this works, for any who might not know. All of the information regarding this comic shall be put here, we won't have a separate thread for OOC or anything of the sort...Especially because, if we did, this thread would be just several and several posts made by me! The general idea of the comic is simple, i'll make images and send in some text to go along with them, showing what's going on with the story and what is around you, then you, the "Suggesters" as the group is usually called, shall do just that, suggest what should the character do next and the character shall follow your advice as we journey through this amazing adventure together. :3

Now, for the sake of keeping things organized, let's set down a few things, yes?

First, if you want to make a suggestion, be sure to do it in the following format:

==> Character A: Action

"==>" - Is a symbol to indicate that what is written on this line is your suggestion, a formality, mostly, don't worry too much about it.

"Character A" - We may possibly have more than one character to deal with at the same time, we're gonna start the comic with a single character so this isn't something you should worry about right now. But later on, if we start getting more characters in the story, please be sure to put this down so I can be sure of what character that suggestion is aimed at.

"Action" - In here goes what you want the character to do. Be sure to be objective and straight to the point with your suggestions, also, remember to take one step at a time, you're more than welcome to make up elaborate plans and whatnot, but don't suggest them all at once, not ICly, at least.

Q&A
What if there are no suggestions?
If there are no viable suggestions for me to follow (Either by no one posting any or by the ones posted being "too silly") I will simply skip the comic ahead a bit, basically just putting the character to wander around for a bit until something interesting happens.

What could be considered "too silly"?
Please note that i'm not objecting that you try and have the characters do silly things just of it being funny, not at all, while we do have a plot to follow I will be more than glad to put in whatever comic relief or exaggeration you guys manage to come up with. There are restrictions to that rule, of course...Such as, by example, attempting to do something that would defy the laws of reality within the world or insiting on doing nonsensical things and letting the plot stall, those kinds of suggestions will be ignored, not that I would not like to do them, but we need to keep the show going!

How do you pick what suggestion you will follow?
I'll always try to go for the ones that push the plot forward first, though I may opt to follow others if I find that they would be interesting or very funny things to do, as long as they don't break the silly rule above.

How often will this be updated?
There's no way for me to define a proper specific schedule for it, seeing as i'll be working on this whenever I get free time. I should be able to update it weekly without much issue, but if, for whatever reason, I start running low on time to do this, I will still continue to post, at the very least, the text to progress the story forward. Unless of course, people prefer to wait for me to have time again before progressing, i'm fine with either, really.

There was a great city in the continent of Mond, filled with magic and wonder, it's name was Celeraska. This great and magnificent city and it's citizens had been blessed by the magic of the Moon. Celeraska's citizens, usually reffered to as Lunars by the common folk, were all gifted with the ability to wield and control the elements of nature and bend the laws of reality to their will, they did so thanks to the magical powers given to them by the moon which were channeled out of their bodies with the help of special catalysts called "Magicaestus". With magic at their command, the Lunars were both feared and respected by all of the people in the world, none would dare oppose them, none would dare stand up against someone who could destroy you with a snap of their fingers.

As time passed, however, Celeraska found itself with a growing need...Their gift was now slowly corruption them, driving them to want more and more, Celeraska, once a peaceful and small little town, quickly started expanding and expanding, until it became a gigantic empire. It all happened very fast, it didn't take even a whole month for the Lunars to easily take over the whole continent Mond, which wasn't called Mond then, actually, that was a name given by the Lunars themselves.

No one dared to oppose the Lunars charge, those who did were wiped out of the way in a matter of seconds, nothing could defend anyone against the Lunar's powerful magics. Their armies were swift and ruthless, a band of exactly one hundred warriors, all fueled by the moon's power, they stomped their way past any all that dared to resist.

Most, if not all positions of power were occupied by Lunars after this, the few normal humans who had any weight to their voice would always have it thanks a Lunar backing them up. It also wasn't uncommon to hear of normal men and women that married Lunar regents and then ruled the land beside their "betrothed."

Regardless, once the Lunars controlled all of Mond, they were sad to see that their desire for power and dominance had not yet been sated. No matter how much they abused their powers, no matter how much higher than all others they put themselves, their desires would still be left unfulfilled...It wouldn't take long until they then started to desire each other's fortune.

[Show/Hide] And then...

And then the great Full Moon War started...And ended. All of them wielding terrible and all mighty powers, the Lunars turned the great city of Celeraska into a desolate battlefield in the short period of a single night. The buildings were all lit on fire, explosions and bursts of magical energy ringed out from all around the capital as the full moon shined down on the city. All that the Lunars had taken so long to build, was all destroyed by none other than themselves in a few brief moments...That day, all of the Lunars were in Celeraska, that day, all of the Lunars murdered and were murdered. The destruction caused by their magic was so great, that it polluted the skies and the clouds...From that day forth, a mysterious dark energy, commonly reffered to as "miasma" was now imbued in the rain, not only it would eventually corrode clothes if left unnatended, it was also rather poisonous, especially if it was dropped on someone's skin. From that day forth, everyone started wearing special cloaks once they went outside, to protect themselves from the rain in case it started.

[Show/Hide] And so it was that...

In a single night, the whole city of Celeraska and the Lunars were decimated, reduced to ashes by their own magical powers. The city was reduced to ruins and all of the magical knowledge that the Lunars possessed was lost in the sands of time. The continent of Mond, now seeing itself free from it's tyrants, started organizing a new government for itself, one where, in theory, all would have a chance of speaking and being heard, regardless of who they were. This new system consisted of an assembly, made up by a representative for each of the groups in the land, one would represent the merchants, another would represent the military, one would represent tailors and another would represent the blacksmiths...There were even representants for the bums, though they were usually asked to take showers before the assembly started.

[Show/Hide] But there was one problem...

There was one piece of land in Mond, which did not adhere to the new system of Assemblies, despite the requests from the rest of the continent, this land was the kingdom of Orwyn, ruled over by King Malkath and his wife, the last Lunar, Queen Cynthia. The Queen was a curious Lunar, she had hair as white as the moon itself and was the only Lunar to not participate in the Full Moon War. While all others wantedfight each other to assure their dominance, Cynthia simply decided to stay at her castle, replying that she had no desire to argue for more than she already had. In fact, after Celeraska fell and the rest of the continent proposed the Assemblies, Cynthia gladly agreed! However, King Malkath did not and quickly convinced his wife to change her stance on the subject...King Malkath had been born on a poor family in Orwyn and lived his early days scrapping by for survival.

That was until, one day, he accidentally happened upon young Lady Cynthia, a most unexpected and sudden meeting, truly, in the form of two youngsters bumping against each other in the middle of the street...No one is quite sure how the full story went, but Cynthia and Malkath fell in love and married...Many say that Malkath never really loved the Queen, rather, he had just manipulated her in order to drag himself up the social pyramid. Not that there is really any way to be sure whether this accusation is true or not anymore.

[Show/Hide] Because, after all...

The inhabitants of Orwyn, infuriated by the opportunity that they were being denied, rebelled against the royal family. Led by a young military captain of the Orwyn Guard, they stormed their way past the castle gates, no one tried to stop, instead, all of the people that they walked by joined them instead. By the time they arrived at the throne room, only two people dared to stand in their way, the King and the Queen themselves. The Queen tried to defuse the situation, but to no avail, it was too late for this and the time for talk was long past, despite being a powerful Lunar, there was nothing that Cynthia could do protect herself or her husband against the gigantic mob that formed against them, they were slain and their blood oozed out of their corpses as the people of Orwyn commemorated their freedom.

There was one thing to be settled down, however...For you see, the King and Queen had a daughter, a young girl, whose existance had been kept hidden away. The young military captain, now named a hero, was the one to discover her existance...But, what was he to do? Certainly he couldn't murder a baby! He couldn't keep her to himself either, of course, that would raise many questions among the people and it's not like he knew how to take care of children anyways! One way or another, however, the child needed somewhere to live, someone to take care of her...But sadly, there was no one to take care of you. Yes, yes you, you are this orphan child, a young girl, left in the hands of the very same man who killed your parents.

[Show/Hide] And that's where you come in...

You are currently in the attic room of the Angel's Hall, the local orphanage in Orwyn and today is a very special day! You were put here EXACTLY thirteen years ago! And since no one, not even yourself, really know when is your birthday exactly, everyone's going to act as if it was today! But, that's not the reason why this day is special, oh no! Today is the day you're going to get out of this orphanage.

Not that it was bad, mind you, but you long to leave this place and seek out your destiny in the great outdoors! You woke up about an hour ago and already got properly dressed in your usual clothes, being sure to put your trustworthy fur cloak over yourself to keep yourself safe and warm from that nasty miasma rain...Not that you're really in danger of getting caught by it since you're indoors, but you know you're gonna be spending lots of time outdoors in the near future, so you figured you'd already get it on. Better safe than sorry!

In your thirteen years here, you haven't really made any close friends...I mean, you talk and play games with all of the other orphans, of course, but you haven't really opened up about your past to anyone. No one in this orphanage but yourself knows abotu your origins, except for the orphanage's keeper, Kaila. You always catch her staring at you from time to time, she probably worries that you'll someday to something dangerous, though she was never direct to you about it. In fact, Kaila has always been very nice and gentle with you, though you do feel that is simply her way of trying to keep you in check.

One way or another, back to the point, today is the day you escape from this place! Soon you will...Do...Something...You don't really know exactly what yet, but you're sure it'll be amazing! You're sure that, once you're done, everyone knows your name...! ...Uh...Which reminds me, what's your name again?
