Opinions? put them on a black background due to contrast issues with the white cloak on the white background. The background is easily removed

or

You really see the difference when you flip between them, but it is subtle.

if i were u, i'd use the second one, as i noticed there is shading on the second row of cloak pieces. The first one, on the other hand, doesn't seem to have that depth. : p

i would use the first character sheet for all the rear-view sprites of the cloak, however. The contrast is a little strong for the sprites. Xp

Yea I thought the contrast was a little high. I forgot to lower the contrast during the edit. Good thing there are only 260 sheets to edit and I have a macro mouse lol.

I'll lower the contrast in a re-edit see if it looks better.

EDIT:

lost the shading but kept the depth.

I think what you need to tell us is what look you are going for. The first image has darker values than the second. Do you want whatever project you are developing to be bright and colorful or dark and gloomy?

I'm not going for anything. I am importing sprite sheets into my 'Sprite Creator 3' and I am looking for which one in 'your' opinion looks best.

Just an opinion on how I am editing them.

Why not both? The best generators are ones that actually have broad options. tongue.gif

That isn't such a bad idea. Doubling the amount of sprite sheets available. Hmm will have to think about that. Size and amount of images isn't a problem. Thanks for the input.
