>What you should do:

1. Enjoy your stay here :);
2. Don't worry if you need help, just ask either a Moderator or Director and they will advise you- they don't bite :D
3. Help anyone you can, if you feel you're able to;

>What you should know:

1. After having achieved a 100 posts score, you will be given the rank of Revolutionary and a personal gallery in which you can upload your graphics; You'll also be able to add a "customized title" to be displayed instead of the member level;
2. You need 100 posts in order to require a graphic resource in the Resource Forum and in the Script Requests Forum.
3. If you desire, you can also ask a Director to change your username, once you've become Revolutionary;
4. Be sure you read the Board Rules at least once!
5. RM2K3 download was disabled due to legal stuff, since the English translation was not authorized by Enterbrain;
6. Before asking for something, search the forum. Maybe you'll find exactly what you were looking for.

>Side notes:
1.While managing your own gallery, avoid using the ' in images' names to prevent your gallery from crashing and the site from producing an error message.

We have a useful F.A.Q.

Hi all smile.gif I was referred here by one of the staff members a week or 2 ago and am finally getting around to joining. Looking forward to participating and contributing where I can.

I've been hardcore into RPGs since the 80s and I still rarely play anything else. I used to use RPG Maker quite a bit, but I found that it was a bit too restrictive for my needs. Though, I honestly haven't even tried any versions since RMXP first came out. Since then I've worked with a few 2D multiplayer engines like Eclipse, VBGore and NetGore. The first 2 of those are still active but given that they are written in VB6, they are completely outdated from a programming standpoint... NetGore is just an updated but less feature filled version of VBGore but still requires the .Net Framework which limits system compatibility. So now I've moved onto Game Maker Studio which I love and allows tons of freedom. It's a bit slower going than engines like RPG Maker, but it allows for the control and cross platform compatibility that I was looking for.

That being said, I'm making a turn based RPG with similar style to RPG Maker games only with much more in depth features than could ever be added to a game made with that engine. But, as with any engine, sprites, music, sound effects, etc will be needed.

I'm not great with making animated sprites. But static sprites I tend to do fairly well with. I've made a few custom tilesets, nothing great but they serve their purpose. I hope I can contribute a few things here and there as time wears on. I might even share some of the tiles and sprites for my game as it progresses.

I'll try to get some screenshots together eventually and post something in the Production forums. In the mean time, if anyone wants any info on the game I'm making, let me know and I'll be happy to share smile.gif
