New members simple guide
>What you should do:
1. Enjoy your stay here :); 2. Don't worry if you need help, just ask either a Moderator or Director and they will advise you- they don't bite :D 3. Help anyone you can, if you feel you're able to;
>What you should know:
1. After having achieved a 100 posts score, you will be given the rank of Revolutionary and a personal gallery in which you can upload your graphics; You'll also be able to add a "customized title" to be displayed instead of the member level; 2. You need 100 posts in order to require a graphic resource in the Resource Forum and in the Script Requests Forum. 3. If you desire, you can also ask a Director to change your username, once you've become Revolutionary; 4. Be sure you read the Board Rules at least once! 5. RM2K3 download was disabled due to legal stuff, since the English translation was not authorized by Enterbrain; 6. Before asking for something, search the forum. Maybe you'll find exactly what you were looking for.
>Side notes: 1.While managing your own gallery, avoid using the ' in images' names to prevent your gallery from crashing and the site from producing an error message.

So I was a member on the forums before, but its been quite some time since I've logged in and I totally forgot everything about my login information.
I'm sorry.
I wasn't really too big of a contributor though, so I don't expect anyone to remember me by name. I just felt it would be polite to mention that in my introduction post.
Anyway, I toyed around with VX quite a lot, but my previous computer has more or less died on me. Wanting a fresh start, I've obtained a copy of VX Ace, wanting to see if I would like it any more or less than the regular VX. So far I have, and am glad I don't feel like I've wasted my money(like I did with VX, since all the progress I made on the game I was making went caput with the computer).
I don't intend on making any kind of commercial game, I'm a casual guy and I enjoy creating things for the sake of creating.
That said, while messing with Ace, I've decided that I want to make a game for my kids to play when they get a bit older. They are 1 1/2 and 4 months now, so I've got PLENTY of time to do this, but again, figured getting this information out in my introduction post would be the polite thing to do.
I'm not too far into it at the moment, I've made there characters in the generator(cool little feature), and a few maps(World, Town 1, House 1, Forest). The story isn't going to be groundbreaking or too terribly original, but again, its just going to be meant for my kids to get a kick out of and say "My daddy made this" when they show it to their friends.
Any advice, recommendations and/or overall kind words will be appreciated, and I plan to be a regular on the forums for quite some time so don't be surprised if you see me out and about commenting on the randomest of things for no reason other than to do so.
