Hello all my name is Dex. I'm new to the site, I've been snooping around for a little while and decided to finally register. Over the past few weeks I began learning C++. I also took a little bit of python in some classes a few years back, so I guess, I'm trying to get into coding. I decided it's finally time to start working on the ideas I've been coming up with for the last few years and actually make a game, instead of procrastinating.
I'm also very familiar with fruity loops and ableton live and fairly familiar with cubase and pro tools. I've dabbled in making some early 8-bit like SNES tones and midi's. So I think if I get far enough to make a game I believe I can also make a good enough soundtrack for it.
I'm going to buy the new RPG maker soon and start getting to work. Making smaller games for awhile and working my way up to my bigger ideas. Any feedback on that would be appreciated as I'm pretty much just starting out. Thanks!
