Forum Teams, an idea Options

So I did a basic search and didn't find anything when I searched "forum teams". I was wondering, does R3 have an event where the forum has a few teams and then builds a game and a few selected judges judges the games?

Admittedly one person would have more work to do, and may not have all the talent of a full group, but they also do not fight for ideas or creative control, when they think of something it becomes an idea without the need to discuss and change so they can work faster. Obviously there are still some major disadvantages to a single person team, but that would be up to the team if they wanted to try it.
