Forum Teams, an idea Options

So I did a basic search and didn't find anything when I searched "forum teams". I was wondering, does R3 have an event where the forum has a few teams and then builds a game and a few selected judges judges the games?

Actually this kind of makes me think of a reality show type thing like The Next Game Boss, run by IGN. Where we can do parts of the game in short contests. Like a week to come up with the game, a working title, the concept, and at least the primary characters, as well as the Genre.

Then we could have some concept art for the next week, like maybe the concept for the characters or even sprites and faces if they manage. Or maybe a title screen and theme music?

Each 'contest' could give points, but instead of people being eliminated like on most of these shows, we just have the points determine something at the end, like the awards given or something? This is just kind of a brainstorm, but I think it could be great.
