Well guys, unfortunately since joining RRR I haven't uploaded much, and haven't been as active in the community as I'd liked to have been. Tonight that changed when I found I had MS Paint and a few hours to kill after a long and sad funeral procession for my gf's grandmother. R.I.P Mary Locascio Sep. 6, 2012. We will miss you dearly.
Anyways, I have really been getting into Fakemon lately. I found some highly impressive and innovative sprites on deviantart, google, and elsewhere. I want to create my own Dex so that maybe I can turn it into a game with RGSS!! One day...

*wink* *wink*
Anyways, enough with the chatter, here is my VERY first Fakemon/Pokemon sprite done from scratch EVER!! Feel free to criticize, I want feedback to improve my skills!!!

Squidlet is a water-type starter Pokemon that I'd like to have two additional evolutions for. Mind you, if the creature looks a bit strange, I will also post the photo I received inspiration from, a Piglet Squid, hahaha!:
UPDATE -Sept 23, 2012 1:00AM Cameron Stoker:

Now I know the shading of the yellow is bad, and the shell is totally an Omastar's, and I'm COMPLETELY AGAINST fusion, but I was really struggling with the shell.

w00t!!!! I have just completed my very first Fakemon sprite! I am very happy with the Squidlet and Krakonseidon, but I do not like the 2nd stage sprite. I can't believe my accomplishments! Not that I'm bragging at all, I simply thought I would be depressed with the results of my first go around. Sweet. Please Comment, Rate, Critique. THANK YOU RRR!! I wouldn't have found motivation/inspiration without the guidance of this community!
