Japanese Language Option For Text?, Any scripts or ways of doing this? Options

I'm interested in translating our game Profit Motive into Japanese, but I noticed that if I try to type Japanese characters into the program, they do not show up in the game when I run it. Is there a way to actually display Japanese font / characters in the game that anyone knows of?

Thanks. I'm actually wanting to change the text that shows up when people play the game though. Changing the font of RMVX only seems to change the font of the editor itself...

EDIT: This is the closest thing I've found, but it doesn't seem to actually work...

The text doesn't show up or it shows up as boxes.
