I like the new example either, also even though you didn't draw those, I'm still in awe of your art!

As far as style goes, I think we should go in comic/manga style, with this epicness it needs to be more then the four panel typical web comic.

For the stones... maybe they're created from the shooting stars? Like where the stars touch/land, the earth gets "contaminated" and turns into aerstone? However, when the concentration of aerstone is high enough, it causes the black swirlies of voids? So aerstone is both a lifesource but a threat.

I can't believe I missed this post, too! This is a GREAT idea! I just love it.

I am home now, and can't finally work seriously on this baby.

By style, I mean drawing style. Like a specific style. D=

Not just "manga" or something. That's too broad.

Also, what do you think of the title: Astralborn?

Simple lineart, celshading. Any other methods are too complex and time consuming xD yuumei did her comic as a flash, and it was neat.

I thought about adding a ribbon on her hair, making her sleeves a bit puffier on the bottom and adding a stitched pocket on the right side. Still need some more stuff, tho.

I think I shall mimic Akihiko Yoshida's style then (the second one). I love his style anyway - but they won't be exactly the same, I promise!
