Luci FernoShivers ran up and down her spine. What was this situation exactly? According to the woman the dead figure on the floor used to be god. And now she was god? God's will? She was confused. The flames of her dogs roared before her and without a word she pointed toward the frail woman with the large weapon. "Attack."
Damien had rushed in head on. A stupid tactic in her opinion, but her hounds backed him up on either side. The woman however seemed completely okay with it and stood there, still. Luci felt a panic just as her hounds lunged for an attack.
It all happened so fast.
Damien disappeared in an instant, causing the woman to react by swinging her large great sword in a circle to shield against an attacking Damien from behind. Luci's wolves were cleaved in two and a great rushing wind erupted from the swords tip sending her flying backward. She lost all sense of gravity as the sheer force of the sword tossed her back with the wind power of a violent gale. She heard cracking noises before smacking into a wall of dirt created by Damien himself in a flash. Any more falling and she would have went out of the hole in the tower. Damien fought the female, who quickly handled her sword as it it were a toothpick. She swung it fast as Damien flew through the air dodging attacks and launching piles of rock at her. Each time she swung a strong gush of wind lashed out to erupt the space among her.
Luci stood against the wall thinking of what she could do to help. Damien showed off his powers, striking with balls of flame and spikes of ice. She couldn't imagine how many reapers he'd murdered to get those powers. Spaces in the tower blasted off with the two locked in combat. Luci could tell by the pale woman's face that she was just toying with him. She needed to help her somehow. "Joe, what do we do?"
she asked summoning a few more hounds. "They're both so powerful. We'd need some sort of strategy."
She couldn't think of any other way. The only plan was to fight.
Romeo WillisThe giant launched it's fists slowly in the air attempting to catch him, but Romeo was too fast. He fired off explosive runes that did little to no help. He zoomed, zipped and dodged his way around the large creature. He drew out rune knives. They hit it, sinking into the spaces between it's armor. However the large creature did not respond with any sort of pain. The creature advanced upon Fae and Sachiko. He was failing at distracting it. With one last attempt he focused his energy in the palm of his hand and erupted a large lazer. It caught the large thing in the back and made it stumble, but that was about it.
"Shit. This thing some kinda freak or somethin?"
He flew to block the creatures path away from Fae when he heard of Sachiko's proposal. He could hear Fae now thinking over the reply. "Oh dear. Um, well I guess if if helps-"
"Stop! No!" He shouted.
He glared at Sachiko. It was an unfriendly look. "She's trying to manipulate you. It's probably what she did to that Clarissa girl. And she abandoned us. You can't trust her."
Fae stood silent. " Dear...How about if you give me 11 points Sachiko? I'd finally have a second ability."
Romeo was proud of his intervention. Somehow it had not felt like he payed Fae back. He would not trust this Sachiko chick for one minute. This girl had the most points. She was dangerous and deadly and Fae was too trusting. He'd have to watch them both.
"Oh my, pardon." Fae uttered as she frantically panicked, rushing to cover behind a slab of rock a few meters away. The giant's foot had cast a large shadow over them and Romeo hadn't realized it until Fae had. It was slowly about to crush himself and Sachiko with the same foot that reeked of the deaf girl's smeared blood and flesh.
NanicciIt had been decades since she had felt cool wind against her skin. Escaping the tower was easy enough. The disaster she hadn't foreseen was creeping up on all of them and much sooner than she'd wanted. She kept about gliding along the red sky, using psychic energies to carry her atop a blue force field bubble. it was much faster than running on legs that were barely over a foot long. She zoomed through when she heard a quick pitch in her microphone. She thought she had heard Gabriel. Or perhaps Amos had tampered with something in her quarters? The two had destroyed much of the equipment when dueling.
However it wasn't important. She had to warn the other reapers. She had to or else Amos' plan would continue. Bradbury park was coming up and she could see dust rising from the trees. The battle had ravaged the land where the black gate stood. Nanicci released herself from the bubble and landed gently on the ground. She had reached it just in time to see both of the princes of hell hacked easily by Johann's scythes. "Sirs no!" she managed to gasped as the two demons disintegrated into black smoke.
She cursed herself for not seeing it sooner. Belphegor seemed too willingly step within the range of Johann's attack. She saw it with her own eyes. A true prince of hell would give even Gabriel trouble. She should have known it was too easy to be true! He tricked them! All of them had been fooled! There was little to no time before the next phase of Amos' plan would begin. "Sirs! Hurry! HERE!" she waved over to the two reapers. "There's an emergency!"
In truth they were the second and third people in Afterlife to ever know what she looked like.
