Hey guys this is a card game that I did all of the graphics for I hope this is okay considering it's in the Tavern area

Now for a point that makes it ok to reply to this topic. I think that you should think about posting this here even if it was the right or wrong place or even if it was or was not allowed, since you are not known in this community it seems bad for a stranger to ask ppl for money when you dont know them and they dont know you. And a more realistic goal wouldn't hurt either.
PS- if you guys would have read the dam guidelines they said that a thank you is NOT a reward! Crap like this hurts the real ppl that use kickstarter.

He's their artist. I doubt FierceDeity decided on the Kickstarter stuff.
Being a part of the team means taking part of the responsibility. And joining a team like that is just all kinds of wrong. If you think you can make money on Kickstarter when your team doesnt pay you for the work you have already done that should set off alarms!

The other two guys in the team aren't exactly making money themselves. FierceDeity is either a friend like what is said on the kickstarter page or doing some voluntary work which could earn him some money. Or both.

Oh I could have told you they not making any money and are not going to, that much is clear. Working with friends is good and can be fun, but $6000 is well $6000, there is nothing fun or cheap about that, I almost spit out the steak I was eating when I read this. Friends dont let friends drive drunk! And friends dont let there friends start kickstarter projects that go against the guidelines. When you throw your name out there to try and be a pro your also throwing your ass on the line to. it's something to think about

Oh throwing this into the abyss sounds great to me MAhahaha. But I dont know where it belongs so i'll leave it up to the topic maker/mods. Still its good to have choices
1: Volunteer portfolio work that could potentially make me money it's in my contract
2: I did not set up the Kickstarter stuff just made the guys aware a thank you note is not a reward

4:I may be getting 300 or 500 from this gig nothing else and the 6K is for basically paying off what they owe as far as card printing box art etc they have a good plan they just are sucking at implementing it.

Can you link to the guidelines the kickstarter project is against?
Also, what's wrong with $6000? How much should they have asked for?
