So, the boredom of my lack of current project led me to create this town today. I'm not really sure what I'm going to do with it yet, but I figured that whenever I feel like working on a new game I'm going to just make some generic maps, or new songs for now. Mapping is my biggest pet peeve in the program, it takes me forever to make a single one, so I figure that when I do decide to start making a game again, I'll at least have some groundwork finished.

This was made using the Forest Town chipset from the RTP, and it was done in about 90 minutes. What do you think? It's really the first town I've ever made with this chipset. There's no backstory to the place whatsoever yet.

My two cents involves making multiple roads. Having to loop around to get from house to house is going to get real tedious, real fast. And also shove some blank areas in there, if only at the end of the map for a little bit of variety for the eye to look at.

My first suggestion is the only mandatory one, mind you. wink.gif
