Pokemon Black Version 2.... What?!, (Release Date: Sept. 2012.) Options

All right, maybe I'm not the only one that this is news for but... what?
This is the first time The Pokemon Company has decided to go with a "numbered" version of Pokemon.
It feels a lot less like Pokemon, when you think about it that way... but anyway, here is a link to the IGN information on the game.

Do you think this is a bad direction in the name of the pokemon game version?
I personally feel that it won't really affect die-hard pokemon fans (pokefans), but it really does seem inadequate to me; like a drawback instead of something creative and new. =\

Supposedly they are releasing new legendary pokemon in this version, and I personally don't think that's enough to warrant my purchase of a second version of a game I already have. Obviously they'll have some story differences, etc., but it really seems cheap to me from what I've seen thus far.

The episodes, the games, not one time did I ever take them seriously, cause they just were not SERIOUS, little boys and girls playing around with talking stuffed animal toys instead of going to school or working for a living is just not serious so when I see this NEW video it just looks stupid. Yeah im sure kids are stupid and eat this flashy $%^* up but I sure as hell dont and im the one with the job and money to actually buy it.

I kind of like the vid on the basis that it reminds me of my childhood where I would love to own a pet that was a biological weapon of mass destruction. I honestly like the direction B2 and W2 are taking. They could have simply reiterated B/W with a few extra features like they did in the previous gens, but instead, Gamefreak is actually introducing a new story, and even bringing back some older pokemon as a part of it's national dex (in the first set of games, the national dex consisted of only the latest pokemon designs). I say, once I get income, I'd definitely put this on my list of games to buy.
