I can't tell..., What is this a sprite of? Options

There are just some anime characters that like...you can't tell their gender.

Is this a guy or a girl?!

I mean like, there's a ponytail there which kinda makes it seem like a girl, except the battler sprite doesn't have any femenine features, but at the same time, there are no male features either.

First, you shouldn't be double posting but editing the topic previously and second are you asking for the gender? Well, I guess it can be anything you want her (or him) to be. Not quite sure how this falls as XP-related discussion though.

It's XP sprites and I really didn't know where else to put it.

I'm pretty sure he's a dude, but I've assumed that before and I've been incredibly wrong (*cough* X-M-O *cough*)
I'm also basing that on the trend they go with for the graphics (001-Fighter01 is a dude, 009-Lancer01 is a dude, 013-Warrior01 is a dude, 016-Thief01 is a dude, so I'm guessing 020-Hunter01 is a dude as well).

You, too, huh? I've went on the misbelief that X was a male for about 2 years. Hard to tell with the pic though, even with the face. It looks like a dude, but there's a feminine characteristic about this, and some women have short hair. As I said previously, it can be whatever you want her/him/it to be.
