FF13 Battle System Battle Event Message Help?, Please help me here... Options

Okay, so I want to create a battle event when fighting an enemy, but apparently Tomoaky's FFXIII Battle System script doesn't allow battle events and in the end nothing happens. How do I change the script so that I could use battle events?

Tomoaky's script is a good one, but he's script isn't very efficient in true simulation of Command Synergy Battle (mainly ATB costs, and said battle events), yet there is a slight possibility it will get updated some day.
