Has anyone watched Real Steel ? If you have then here's my idea, Have one character skills control the moves an attacks of another character.
Same with normal attack which could be the same attack motions for the other character.

does that make sense. like if your controlling character thats controlling said monster or character dies, you lose the match :3

Yeah, it's really too vague. Said like that, I'm thinking about Final Fantasy's Control but I guess it's not it.

I think I understand..? Maybe... Not.

Do you mean have a playable character whose list of skills directly affect the moves of an ally? When the character dies, that ally can no longer act because its list of moves and skills were with the player who has been KO'ed?

If that's what you mean, it sounds a bit pointless. If you're left controlling the other character then how do you control yourself? It sounds intriguing, but under the current system I wouldn't really know how you could implement it effectively.

It kinda reminds me of Final Fantasy XI when you're playing as a Summoner.

So... it be pokemon? But not?
Or maybe it's like pokemon but when you say "strong attack," but the person that is being controlled (I.e Rock-em sock-em robots (transformers without jobs)) will choose between this, this, or this strong attack.

yeah like that or that if your character loses, you got a like a certain time limit to revive it or something
I don't know @_@

i show trailer for Real Steel an thought that might make for an interesting game :3 what you do your character or / ally copys your moves ^^

but your ally is the only one that damages the other monster. sort of like a system for one on one duels. an the monster is being controlled by another controler.

If you had 4 people in your party (2 controllers, 2 "robots") then you could probably pull it off. If one controller dies, the other one can revive them. If either of the robots die, then both of the controllers can revive it. And it's game over if both controllers die I'm guessing?

Am I getting this about right?
But this is all up to if you can get the skills of one party member to be tied to a different one.
