Where can I find some really well made Chipsets for RPG Maker 2003? The ones I was able to find are ok but not impressive and doesn't supply an impressive amount to make real cool looking maps. My maps are not stellar at all and it bugs me, but since its my first game in years I can excuse it. But for future games it would really suck if I don't have chipsets that have enough to make some really beefy maps.

So can anyone point me in the right direction where I can find some really kick ass chipsets? Mostly modern based chipsets. Buildings, cities, streets, dark places, etc. (Yes I looked here on RPG RPG Revolution.)

You should try Charas Project.

I know about Charas Project. I browsed through there. There isn't enough modern chipsets. Everything is midevil fantasy based. I've been trying to look for good modern based chipsets that has streets and such. On rpgmaker.net I see a few projects that have these crazy looking modern made maps that I scratch my head around to how they made it. Unless they are sprite artists themselves and made the chipsets custom.

If Charas-Project isn't satisfactory, the only other resource site I know enough would be Oniromancie. It's all in French though, and you'll certainly find rips mixed with the rest but I can't think about anything else right now.

You could have somebody go through spriters resource (namely, the NES section) and sprite up some edits for you.
It's quite a cool place, never would have got into spriting without it. biggrin.gif Don't think i'm aloud to link though...

Well, I should be able to. Look at the Project Zelda Engine.

If I can't link, tell me. I'll remove it.

They are all on Oniromancie.net.

The chipsets you want to particularly look for are Theodore's. His style in modern chipsets are astounding
