If one of your 4 characters dies I would like a list to pop up and you pick someone to take their place, and then when all of your characters run out you lose, there is no "Revive" spell in this system I'm thinking up and I think some crazy long hard and epic battles can happen like this.

Ooh this sounds like a fun little project! IF you could PM me specifics as to how you want this to work, I'll look into the techie stuff for it. And possibly start working on it. smile.gif

Basically, I have the jist of what you want figured out, I guess I just want to know what all you want it to do additionally, in other words, any possible restrictions you want for calling the script. (i.e. restrictions in the means of death and the like)

I'm sorry, I would hate for you to do work, It really just popped into my head I don't think I'm going to do it. I guess it could be cool if you did it I'm sure someone else could use it better. I haven't been on this site in a while and this was just something that I thought up, I didn't mean to waste your time

No, it's fine, really. I'll really just be doing it in my spare time. I like the idea, and I could really use it for games i'll make in the future. It would really be useful for those making pokemon-style games.

You'll have to explain this to me in more detail. Are you using a party extension script? Because if you have all 4 members in one battle there are no actors left. Unless you're using one by one. If you are using a party extension script post that as well since it would be necessary to make what you are requesting. I'm learning RGSS2 and I'd like to help as many people as I can tongue.gif

Haha, that's a good point. I assumed that was the case, though, so I'm taking that into consideration in making the script.

I was thinking that when one character dies you immediately get a list of your other party members and you immediately switch out.
